While I love to hate on uw, I just feel like they can find someone with as much upside, but less baggage. This kid and parents feel like Gee Scott X 10.

Kinda serves him right for agreeing to $9M from Miami, then going back on his word when he got a better offer elsewhere.

I'm fine if he wants to come here if the coaches think they can coach the "head case" out of him -- but I hope the NIL deal he gets here is the same as the NIL deal we'd make with any 18 year old, unproven recruit.

No problem with a qb taking the highest bid. Worry about paying for unproven talent though. That can ruin a locker room if they suck or don’t work hard.
