Whatever has happened behind the scenes the past 6 weeks to lock guys in to run it back gets the biggest stamp of approval I can find. Fucking awesome to see kids with legitimate chances at NFL $$$ sign on for another here to build on this year.

Is there anyway Smalls would contribute inside next year if he put on 10-15 pounds? Listed at 260 right now and is about to be lapped by Holtzclaw and Heims

I’d like to think the light comes on at some point and he can contribute meaningfully. But, it also seems like he went 4 years of HS getting stroked by coaches that didn’t know what they were doing. He plays slow because he’s still learning the game in ways you don’t expect for someone that has played as long as he has. Seems like a good kid. Whoever coached him at Garfield and then Kennedy fucked him up in my shitty opinion (sorry @CFetters_Nacho_Lover)

I don’t hate the thought. Just wonder how he handles the intricacies of a position switch, though admittedly don’t know enough about what we are asking if guys in the scheme to say if it’s fair. My gut tells me to keep it simple and milk what we can get at this point on the edge, but I get 100% where you’re coming from.
