Teen boys are getting pushed and pulled by a lot of salesmen with real $$ and real implications for their long term well being at stake. A lot of them are going to make wrong choices. I wouldn't say they should get second and third chances, but they might as well.
Loyalty doesn't exist in the industry from either side.. Players get nudged out the door to make room for better ones, and most coaches are ready to bolt for a better salary at any point. Kids are going to make bad choices left and right. Hell...adult players with well paid representatives make bad choices all the time.

I don't love how this has gone down and I think DeBoer's system is going to fly with just about any receivers as long as the QB is good.
