They were just talking on the Finebaum show about how you don’t get into the College Football HOF with a win percentage under 60% so guys like Howard Schnellenberger or Leach would have to get some kind of special exemption. What a fucking crime

Fuck that. Leach absolutely belongs in there. His coaching tree is crazy, and the impact he’s had on offense both in college and the NFL is huge.
Yup. He was also doing it at bottom third conference schools

Don Coryell is being inducted in to the NFL HOF (in 2023) for the same reasons that Leach should be. Only had a 57% winning percentage but was an innovator and had a HOF coaching tree, etc.

I don’t understand why I am so sad about this. Anyways what a life, dude was definitely an interesting individual

    Look at the online response.

It's the closest I've seen to a funeral reception with friends and family swapping stories in honor of the deceased.

People typically live shitty, mundane, groundhogs day type lives.

Leach was a memorable outlier that called to the small part of our soul that wasn't dead inside that it's okay to have fun and not take yourself so seriously.
Awwww, @Doogles, that was goddamn poetic. POTD!
