We need to reinstitute the Friday Sacrifice. I have at least one candidate.FireTheJanitor said:
The most history I’ve learned in years. The Friday Sacrifice 😂DerekJohnson said:
Husky Half Brains started in October 2007 by @iDawg and @RaceBannon. They felt that the Seattle media was not making a fair and accurate assessment of the UW football program. The team was failing but the bizarre media and fan talk was all about how it was succeeding in ways other than wins and losses and how WIllingham was helping the players comport themselves better, etc.Canadawg said:It's weird to think about thousands of people lurking these boards. I liked the write up @DerekJohnson what was the HHB board all about and why did it shut down?
The website and podcast were simultaneously created. The website was on a cheaper website and virtually no moderation, save for the Friday Sacrifice when Sven got to pick which poster's account was to be deleted.
The website was such a breath of fresh air but also sometimes a horror show. It finally got shut down when a poster reported some pornographic material to the server company and the site went dark never to return.
I think I got all those details right. -

That’s my memory of it as well, with Damone’s clarification. Army of Doogs. Heh. It’s funny cause back then we hated their antics since they were unconditional supporters of mediocrity, but it would be nice to have some more passionate fans these days who don’t have tickets to Hamilton.DerekJohnson said:

I had the mocking Army of Doogs Twatter account which I lost the password to years ago but appears to still be preserved. Maybe this will fill in some gaps?
Anyway, the internet never forgets

Elon would definitely sell you access to your account again

Also from the HHB bored era I recall APAG's cougar exploits and I believe Rip Ty's condom reviews.

Cliff Notes on who "Sven" was? I forgot or didn't know.

This place has filled in for them. Unconditional support of mediocrity. So that’s still covered.whlinder said:
