No idea. Maybe have to trade Simons and possibly include Sharpe. Even then where is your depth going to come from. They're put together about as good as you can be. Even with Porter kind of being a bitch. Gordon was the get that Portland needed. As proven by that 2021 series that got Stotts fired.
Getting Gordon and fleecing someone for CJ could have made them a pretty good contender with Simons filling in for CJ. They would have needed someone tougher/more serviceable than what Nurk has turned into.

Pretty much it's back to Dame begging some goodish guys to in FA and hoping he can carry them and not get injured. Grant is expected to be kind of a star and he hasn't been. He needs to be amazing. Done with Nurk, they need to trade for a center that is actually going to defend and not get in foul trouble consistently. The Beavlet is a okay backup I guess.
Thybulle feels like the only intelligent acquisition they've made in years. -

Calvin Booth is Denver’s GM. He was the shittiest free agent signing after Jim McIlvene for the Sonics.
He should win GM of the year. Bruce Brown was a great free agent signing. He’s a great role player and couldn’t have picked a better team to sign with. KCP was a good pick up too. Jokic makes everyone on the team so much better and is the best player in the NBA. -

I don't care if they trade Dame.
But knowing Portland's place in the NBA they won't trade him, he has to force his way out and I don't even think he wants to leave. He's said as much. Being the 2nd or 3rd option on a contender compared to what he makes here isn't appealing to him.
I could see some pre-retirement stint with the Warriors. He's never cared about going to LA or NY. -
