The party of choice

"Who among us has not had that situation?" she continued. "Where you got to wait for approval, and the doctor says, 'Well I don't know if your insurance company is going to cover this.' Let's eliminate all of that. Let's move on."
Because National Health isn't going to make you wait.

National reimbursement. Canadians overwhelmingly prefer their system to ours. Cue the anecdotes and likely apocryphal stories in . . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1RaceBannon said:https://foxnews.com/politics/kamala-harris-under-fire-after-promising-to-abolish-private-health-care-plans-thats-not-american

If you get a good plan you never have to deal with the health insurer.HardlyClothed said:Find me someone that has a good experience dealing with their health insurer

I have Blue Cross and never had any problems. And we have had significant medical expenses. Of course expecting Blue Cross to have the scintillating record of the VA is too much.

I should have the choice to use private insurance and if they say no I should have the choice to pay cash
All of which the storm troopers on the left need to eliminate to take all the money and be worse than insurance
And yes Canadians flood Seattle hospitals due to long waits. And yes government care by definition will have "death panels" just like Insurance does. The difference being there is no other option -

Don't know if that claim came from poor reading comprehension or if his news source lied to him. -

Went to the doctor recently for pneumonia, paid $200 for the visit because I was below my $1300 deductible, and paid $13 for the antibiotics. Kind of sucks on the $200 doctor visit, but I knew what to expect since I actually read my benefits before I signed up. It's HARD

My doctor was giving me shit about insurance today. I said we really don't want to go there
70$ cop pay and 60 bucks of pills cash. I think I'm up to 3 or 4 grand a month for insurance thanks to all the fixing that has happened
He's like you're 62 now and you need it. I said I don't need a cabinet full of drugs like you did to my mom because she was old
He also told me I am going to have a stroke so I relented to some high blood pressure medicine
If I disappear you know why -
At least we agree that there’s no system that can just perpetually say Yes to every treatment.RaceBannon said:I should have the choice to use private insurance and if they say no I should have the choice to pay cash

Once again you nailed something not in question but you missed the part about how in non mandated society you can pay for it yourself something Harris wants to eliminateHHusky said:

It's really odd that with our awful healthcare we are 7th in the world in medical tourism. I can't imagine why anyone would leave a socialist paradise to come here for treatment. -

I expect your wife encountered Canadians. Our borders are terribly porous, I’m told. Your claim was bigger than that. -

There is a reason it is called a mandate. My way leaves you free to enlist in the military and get shitty government healthcare while those of us who choose private insurance or cash are free to do so
Harris and your ilk require us all to get in line. Example 207 of the death of liberalism in America -

Mine was also awesome until about 2014 and then the price of it skyrocketed. $70 initially, ditched it at $500 a month, it's now well over $1k a month for the same insurance.MikeDamone said:

Mine was a "free" as you could get because my employer paid for it. That went out the window
All so we could move a few million off of one government program to another and claim victory -
Luckily my employer stepped up to the plate(privately owned company) and gave us great insurance(for now). $20k bill for my daughter's delivery. Paid $150 total.RaceBannon said:

I used to have the whole family covered and paid for by the boss. If I had stayed there we'd probably go 50/50 on the cost for me alone -
This is exactly why we should go to Medicare for all. Businesses need to find a way to profit more every year. And one way is to cut benefits from their workers.RaceBannon said:

El oh El at Canadians flooding to hospitals in Seattle. Reminds me of Bob's claim that he sits in the ER for hours with a bunch of illegals.
