    * I know some smart ass(boobs) will bring up Hedges and although she hired a Rose Bowl winning coach she was basically a puppet who did what Tyee's told her to do.

    Remember what Woody said to the team after Sark spilled the beans to the team.... "I will find you a coach that can win more than 8 games" or something very much to that effect. I loved it. It was a slight to Sark and possibly foreshadowing what he already knew.

    If that is true... Sark was a dead man coaching ... and he was told after UCLA.

    OSU was him closing the deal on the field for USC.
    What a change from two months ago when UW was being ran by a frat guy at head coach and a pool boy at AD.

    Now UW has adults at AD and Head Coach. I don't know what happened to Woodward from "incremental progress" to that but damn I'm even more fired up!

    Hedges gets credit for firing Lambo and hiring Rick, but her mistakes outweigh her successes by a good bit. Even if we throw out everything that happened in 92 as a rookie with no clout, firing her baby daddy in June was inexcusable. Woodward has his massive warts, too, but the combo of hiring Petersen and getting the Stadium done trumps anything Babs can offer.
