Bullshit. Medicare is the only one on that list I'm willing to pay for. Average person can't save enough to be properly insured in old age, and there comes a point when working isn't an option. On that point, I'm left of center. People need healthcare, and while we're figuring it out, Medicare needs to remain funded. I won't dispute it, because I don't have any facts in front of me, and if the Tug has taught me one thing it is to wait for facts (wish Hondo could learn that). But that seems unbelievable to me. I'm down with some form of health care for all. I don't have a philosophical issue providing basic care for all, focusing on prevention and wellness. You want Cadillac coverage, pay for it just like now.
Bring home a few more troops and scale back on military and international aid. Get shit back in order at home - rebuild infrastructure (crumbing bridges, highways, dams, etc.) and focus on providing cheap, high speed broadband for every corner of the country. Just like the interstate highway system changed the game in the 50's and 60's, the web is doing the same in the 21st century. Put big $$$ on that - both in hardware and brainware trying to make it even better.

That being said, the vast majority want Medicare for all. I'm not sure on the other stuff, but there are millions of people that want it all. -

But, nowhere in the surveys I found were any costs mentioned. I would be interested to see the results when the question is asked do you support free college, and your state and federal taxes will rise by XXX percentage to pay for it. I think the answers would be much different. Perhaps not.
I didn't bother to look at the laundry list of other shit because even though I am stupid I know that would bankrupt the country trying to pay for green deals, and free college and health care for all. Even soaking the rich at 70% wouldn't finance all of that shit. You'd have to raise taxes dramatically on the middle class and sort of rich as well, thereby negating most of the benefit. If the country understood what it would take to make college free for everyone, nobody would want it. And it would ruin our system, which is still kinda/sorta built on a meritocracy. Believe it or not, we still have some very well functioning colleges and universities in the US. It's why foreign elites still flock here and pay top $$ to get their education.
