We had a moderate Democrat in the White House for 8 years and he did fuck all.
The majority of Americans support Medicare for all, free college, green new deal, raising minimum wage and a 70% top tax rate. But Democrats need to run someone who doesn’t support those things to win? Like the last democratic nominee? Not like Bernie Sanders, who happens to be the most popular politician in America.
If you want a moderate Democrat as the nominee in 2020 it’s because you want the Democrats to lose. Simple fact. -

Bullshit. Medicare is the only one on that list I'm willing to pay for. Average person can't save enough to be properly insured in old age, and there comes a point when working isn't an option. On that point, I'm left of center. People need healthcare, and while we're figuring it out, Medicare needs to remain funded.
