That's not how it works. Talent is talent. You don't get to decide who is talented based on stupid ass rankings done by Brandon Huffman and Greg Biggins. Jimmy Lake is the best DB coach in the nation. I'll take his talent evaluation over some loser teen boy stalkers all day long. Trying to flip a Texas A&M commit and two Utah leans are not desperation offers. A&M would have whooped UW's ass this past season and Utah consistently has the second best defense in the conference and put guys into the league. We are not in a desperate situation either. We already have three 4-star guys committed who are legit 4-stars and were highly coveted.dirtysouwfdawg said:
He’s not an Uber-talented under the radar who turns into a star until he is... right now he’s a 3-star desperation offer due to our silly ass crootin strategy.StrongArmCobra said:
Doesn't matter, he's regular safety size. Budda Baker's 5-10. Taylor Rapp's 6'0. Who cares? You and others are incapable of being objective when guys get offered late. You fall in love with high star ratings and early offer guys and don't want anybody else but the guys YOU want. You're looking for any and every reason you can to not like this kid and the others that have been offered late instead of objectively looking at their talent. A safety that's 6'0 with a 10.6 100 meter time and good film is fucking talented. We want NFL physical traits and the rest is coaching.LaMichael_Corleone said:StrongArmCobra said:I like him. 6'1 185 and reports a 10.6 100 meter time on his hudl profile. Speed looks legit on film. Good ball skills. Hidden gem safety prospect.
Bruh you lie about his height more than he does. On his own twitter he only gives himself 6’0. Drop the shtick dood.
This is the doogiest moment on HH. You can’t have it both ways and say “UDUB offers actually matter cuz they only give them out to players they want” and then say “we offered Noa a whole year before these players who barely have 2-3 offers because he sucks and everyone else offered him.” If you trust Jimmy then trust the order of his offers. Why the fuck wouldn’t he offer these kids earlier?
You’re being a Husky Mosster and it’s fucking infuriating because you shit on Mosster for being a fag and now look where you are. Saying Heimuli and McDuffie is a back up option for Oregon is just as ridiculous than the shit you’re saying. -

No bitch, you don't "trust the order of offers". Even with the limited offers UW puts out they still offer some guys early that AFTER FURTHER FUCKING EVALUATION they realize are not good enough to play here or they prefer someone else. We passed on early offer Criddell for Cameron Williams. Situations like that happen every fucking recruiting cycle. Order of offer does not mean shit. These kids are constantly being evaluated and constantly being moved up and down the board. Some early offer guys get leap frogged on the board by later offer guys. It's a continuous process of evaluation. Just because a guy gets an early offer doesn't mean he hasn't fallen down the board or off the board completely. This obviously occurs by the actions of the coaches.LaMichael_Corleone said:StrongArmCobra said:

Not when they are an entire year apart. Criddell and Cam were within months of each other.
It’s one thing when you get Zo & Miki and you like them more than Maninoa. But excuse me what nickel and safety commits do we have? Oh that’s right we’re still looking for one. We wouldn’t drop Maninoa if we didn’t get who we wanted that’s the difference. -
Fuck are you talking about? Criddell was offered the Summer before his Junior year. Cam was offered the Summer after his Junior year. That's a huge gap of time between the two offers (11 months).LaMichael_Corleone said:StrongArmCobra said:

No it doesn't. Guys fly under the radar all the time. Greg Gaines was going to Boise State before UW hired Petersen late in the process. Sidney Jones was committed to Utah late in the process. 1st round talent Joe Tryon was committed to WSU late in the process. Freshman All American Jaxson Kirkland was committed to UCLA and was offered late by UW. 1st team All-Pac 12 Center Nick Harris was offered late after UW missed on early offered Michael Elitise. What's Elitise doing at Arizona? Haven't heard shit about him. When's he going to be an all-conference lineman?LaMichael_Corleone said:

Sure, if I was a fan of some shit program that sucks at evaluating talent I'd be worried about them offering and taking guys late in the process. As a UW fan I'm not worried because
A. UW has proven their talent evaluations are second to none and
B. When I look at the talent level of the late offer guys I can objectively see the NFL talent we're looking for. -
