You can't demote a coach and keep him on staff. He loses any and all credibility with the players.

Oregon did it with Pellum and the next season became the 116th ranked defense in the country. Prior precedent shows that this doesn't work.

Everyone is acting like Hamdan sucks which is completely false. He’s good and he’s creative. He was capped by Captain Faggot as his QB.

When you find him, can you give Manny Diaz a call and let him know?

Yep there's that too. Except for the 1 in a million instance where it was *his* idea. I see you Coach Kwat.

But yeah no fucking way Bush is asking for this or going for this, and if he settled for it because he couldn't find another job he'd be ineffective in the role as you laid out.

And fire Hamden. Pretty simple really.

Where is everyone getting this idea that Hamden's going to willingly take a demotion?
Kwat did it to work on his recruiting. You saw how ecstatic he was after getting latu so it's paying off clearly

But hamdan is a young coach with high aspirations. He's not going back to a wr coaching position.

Yeah Hamden's a riser who hardly stays longer than a year at one spot. Kwat's a guy who's going to spend his entire career with the same HC.

Not really comparable situations, and the Kwat move was a massively extreme outlier.

    Leave me out of this!

Browning post shoulder surgery was no longer a Power-5 QB. Anybody who thinks Hamdan is getting fired or demoted after having such a limited QB to work with is kidding themselves. It's not happening.

Hamdan doesn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. He scored less than Smith’s mighty Beav squad with way better talent comparatively speaking. Giving Gaskin the ball 7 times in the first half or whatever it was against OSU was fucktarded.

Teen boy stalking love for Hamden has clouded everyone's vision.

His play calling is atrocious. Especially in the red zone when it matters. If Jake was such a liability he was too dumb to see Gaskin right there.

He might improve, but Hamdan FUCKING SUCKED at OC this year, complete failure. We talk shit about Ford and Bru wasting their talent at SC, Hamdan just wasted Gaskin.

Being optimistic about him at OC is straight doogery.

Better talent on the field makes coaches look a whole lot better. That's why people can reasonably be optimistic.

Who said anything about “willingly?” Fuck him if he doesn’t like the position he barely qualifies for. He’s no OC.

His pitch option at the auburn game was enough for me to make my judgement
