Get Lucky is one of their worst songs.

There's no need to even listen to one of the songs. "Daft Punk" sounds as hipster and faggy as "Dashboard Confessional."
Simple fact. Case closed. End of discussion. -
Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo consisting of musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter.[3][4][5][6] Daft Punk reached significant popularity in the late 1990s house movement in France and met with continued success in the years following, combining elements of house with synthpop.[4][5][7] The duo is credited with producing songs that are considered essential in the French house scene. The group was managed from 1996 to 2008 by Pedro Winter (Busy P), the head of Ed Banger Records.[8] Early in the group's career, the band members were influenced by groups including The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones.[9]

The girl is ok, nice ass. The song is terrible.

Daft Punk is about the most mainstream Electronic group you can find.
Here's what they describe influenced their last album:
"Regarding the style of the album, they sought a "west coast vibe", referencing such acts as Fleetwood Mac, The Doobie Brothers and the Eagles. Daft Punk also acknowledged that the record pays homage to Michael Jackson, The Cars and Steely Dan. The recording of live synthesizer parts was done in a progressive rock fashion, with the pop sensibilities of Wizzard and The Move. Daft Punk specifically looked to the album Rumours by Fleetwood Mac and The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd as models. Bangalter felt that "the most important records in music, whether it's Led Zeppelin or The White Album or Sgt. Pepper's... or Quadrophenia or Tommy, are the ones that take you on a journey for miles and miles."
Pharrell helped produce the album FFS.
RAM was the #1 album in dozens of countries.
It's nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy's.
Hardly hipster. -

She's a winner.
Sorry about the song, I'm old, I thought when you said
Daft Punk you were referring to Kim. -
The girl is just about perfect .... I'd be doing well to make it to the 2 minute mark...
The Daft Punk is curious ... The worst part about it is if D2D sees this shit he will pollute the board with his anti gay schtick ....
... But he's likely busy in an airport bathroom stall right now ... -

Shitty hipster music is John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, Lumineers, or any guy with an acoustic guitar and a squeaky voice.

Music changes.
Electronic is now a major influence on the mainstream artists.
Daft Punk isn't just electronic gimmicks though. The song I posted and a lot of the stuff on their album features "funk" oriented guitar and bass. -
You keep trying to prove they're not hipster by listing all the hipster things they do.CollegeDoog said:Music changes.
