You know what the prospects of $15/hr gets you?
It gets you 8 self order kiosks at McDonalds across the street from Disneyland.
I’ve got to admit, I had a much better overall experience.
This chick is as dumb as Trump, and I’m trying to be nice. -
I can assure you that people have been replaced by machines long before a $15 minimum wage and the minimum wage at the McDonalds across the street from Disneyland isn’t $15.
Automation is inevitable. Your argument that people shouldn’t be paid more because they’ll be replaced by machines that are replacing them anyways is either ignorant or disingenuous. -
He didn’t say people shouldn’t be paid more because they’ll be replaced by machines.allpurpleallgold said:I can assure you that people have been replaced by machines long before a $15 minimum wage and the minimum wage at the McDonalds across the street from Disneyland isn’t $15.

He said the replacement machines were implemented because it was a better business decision than paying $15 workers.

I believe that falls into the ignorant part of the conversation.PurpleThrobber said:

Although I'm more bothered about why someone would eat at McDonald's across the street from Disneyland. -
Obviously you’ve never had a sausage biscuit with egg.2001400ex said:

I said the prospects of $15/hr. That will be the wage in 2022. Weird how businesses plan ahead...allpurpleallgold said:I can assure you that people have been replaced by machines long before a $15 minimum wage and the minimum wage at the McDonalds across the street from Disneyland isn’t $15.

How many remedial $15/hr jobs can be done by machines? 90%? The only thing minimum wage does is put people out of work. You actually hurt the people you are trying to help. This APAG is what ignorance is...
