This again? So fucking stupid. He is 100% gone to the NFL after next season! Get that through your fucking head! The coaches know this and do not give a fuck about red shirting him at all. We need him to win the next two games. Need to get the most out of him while we got him. He's fucking playing in both games.

Unless he gets injured again... But that probably won't happen, so why prepare for it? Couldn't have beaten the beavs without him!StrongArmCobra said:This again? So fucking stupid. There is this thing called medical redshirts for players who get injured. Also he would still have a season of eligibility as a true Senior if needed due to injury. And no, nobody plans for injuries. Nobody plays players based on the possibility of future injuries. You play him and win now and expect him to be healthy next season and go to the NFL. That's what smart people do.Neighbor2972 said:

I think this is likely. He’ll catch 40-50 balls next year and be a top 3 round pick.StrongArmCobra said:This again? So fucking stupid. He is 100% gone to the NFL after next season! Hunter Bryant will not be here his entire eligibility....regardless if it's 4 or 5 years
-
...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility? You sit him against Oregon State not in important games. I wish they had but that ship sailed.
-
...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility?he's gone after the 2019 season so this is a silly question
-
...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility?Stupid pole. Just fucking win now and he's gone next year regardless.
-
...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility?Guys like BBK you redshirt to physically develop and reap the benefits of their RS JR and RS SR years.
Guys like Black Beast have been physically developed since High School and will never stay around for 4 or 5 years. -
...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility? You play to win the game
-
...sit him for the P12CG and play him in the bowl game?If we can’t beat utah without Bryant, then fuck us.

You get the rust off against oregon state so you win down the stretch. As has been said numerous times, he won't be exhausting his eligibility.UWhuskytskeet said:You sit him against Oregon State not in important games. I wish they had but that ship sailed.

That's fine but then they shouldn't have played him for those few snaps against Stanford.Mad_Son said:

That's fair criticism if there is a world where he stays to full tenureUWhuskytskeet said:

Fucking this. If he’s healthy and has a great year next year, he’s probably gone anyway. Plus, there’s no fucking way he’s staying 3 more years. Even if he did redshirt and stayed that long, it would be because he kept getting hurt, and WWWHA.StrongArmCobra said:This again? So fucking stupid. He is 100% gone to the NFL after next season! ...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility? You ride that gorgeous nubian prince all the way to the Rose Bowl. Fuck the future. Win now. It's there for the taking.

...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility?Assuming players are going pro early is reckless and playing him against both Stanford and Oregon State was dumb.
You would think given Pete's reputation of being insanely detail oriented would lead to better roster management, but it hasn't. You would also think a well coached team would have solid at worst special teams; we don't. It's hard. -

Do you prefer him leaving as a true Junior or redshirt sophomore?ExtraChrisB said:Assuming players are going pro early is reckless and playing him against both Stanford and Oregon State was dumb.

...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility?Per PFF was the highest rated TE last week.
TIGHT END
Hunter Bryant, Washington
Week 13 Grade: 91.2
Bryant had quite the evening against Washington State, coming down with all three of his targeted passes for 108 yards and 56 yards after the catch. He forced two missed tackles and saw a perfect passer rating when targeted from Jake Browning (and Aaron Fuller) of 158.3.

...play him in both the P12CG and bowl game, and sacrifice a year of eligibility? This is a no brainer. The goal is to win titles. The coaches are here to win games, titles, otherwise they get fired.
Your best receiver is back, healthy, and you are about to play for the conference trophy and maybe a Rose bowl. Of course you play him. Regardless of if he declares for the NFL early, what if he breaks his leg against Portland State in September next year? What did you accomplish by not playing him? What if he stays healthy but the team goes 6-6 because something else happens. When you can win today you dont postpone to tomorow.
