KamFab is primarily a safety recruit for UW. Criddell, Steele, and Wright were decided as not being OKG's for one reason or another and taken off the board a long time ago. McDuffie has been the only CB on the board. This kid getting an offer makes him #2 on the board. Telling the truth of the matter is not "dooging".HillsboroDuck said:
#2 on the bored is serious dooging. Kam Fab, Criswell, Steele and McDuffie at the very least were ahead of him and maybe Wright. Still, that’s very good company and plenty of other talented kids we haven’t offered.StrongArmCobra said:The bottom line is McDuffie has been UW's only CB recruit this entire fucking cycle. Others may have been offered but after further analysis, McDuffie was the only OKG. This kid isn't some plan D option after whiffing on a bunch of other guys. The coaches like him enough to have him as their #2 CB on the board. That's high praise. Byron Murphy was the #2 CB on the board in his recruiting class below David Long. But because he had 4-stars next to his name ad a bunch of big-time offers, everybody immediately loved him when he committed.
Sydney Jones was a 3-star and only had one Pac-12 offer in Utah late in his recruiting cycle. At the time, Utah was the team who had out-smarted everybody else with that offer. Should UW have left Jones alone because he didn't have enough offers or stars? It's the same situation here. If they think they found a diamond in the rough then they should go after him and they have the resume to back it up.
Do we want an entire recruiting class of diamond in the rough type recruits? Fuck no. But one or two is fine with me especially when they are recruited as top priorities (#2 CB on the board) instead of late Jordan Chin type offers after whiffing on everybody else. -
u need to stop talking, Kam should get a chance at cornerStrongArmCobra said:

The coaches like him as a swiss army knife DB. He may play corner but he's never been recruiting exclusively as a corner. Was originally recruited to play safety.WeakarmCobra said:

He seems to have pretty fluid hips, would want to give him a chance at corner before moving him to SafetyStrongArmCobra said:

Tonight against Mater Dei he and the Drake DE have been the only bright spots for centennial. He broke up a Bru Mcoy TD reception in the endzone. He closes on the ball very quickly and very physical. since the UW offer he has been playing with more mojo!
At the start of the game the announcers said he was a Washington commit and then corrected himself and said he has received an offer from Washington and that that is his only offer which to them is surprising since he is one of the key players to watch tonight and one of the best DBs in Southern California.
He is covering Bru Mcoy and he is shutting him down. -

I jinxed him. Mcoy burned him for a TD pass. Hopefully some future dwag on dwag crime.
-
McCoy burned him a couple of times for TDs when on an island

McCoy clearly has elite acceleration and athleticism, so it's not surprising he beat Williams a few times, but for the most part, Williams was assigned to McCoy the entire night and I have to say I was somewhat surprised how little impact McCoy ended up having in the game.
There was a moment early on when Williams gave McCoy a little leg kick after the play which was indicative of the chippy play between both teams. There is definitely bad blood between the schools.
Also of note, Sean Dollars was playing and even though he was mentioned as the #4 all purpose back in the galaxy, it is clear he's the #2 if not #3 running back for MD...which I found odd. A 4 star kid that highly recruited and he's not even an every down back in high school. Trust the coaches.
Centennial also had another d-lineman who was pretty good, but his name eludes me....Foreman or something like that.
Centennial's coach should have been fired on the tarmac at SNA for staying with that quarterback, though.
