Push up the middle from John Clark. Heat from the edge from Ryan Bowman & Amandre Williams. Kyler Manu and Jake Wambaugh ready to punish anyone who makes it through that gauntlet. I like my DWAGS in this one, rather easily.

Where was this confidence a few weeks ago when you didn't have the stones to make a bet with J?oregonblitzkrieg said:Not to boast or anything, but I've got a 65-70% win ratio of picking teams on Saturday over the last two years. Said the Stanford game would come down to less than a touchdown, that we would beat a ranked Cal team on the road by 2-4 TDs.
My call for this game hasn't changed. We establish the run vs UW and win by a margin of 1-2 touchdowns imo. Very different from last year, when I picked UW to win rather easily. -
I'm not going to look it up but J's original bet was virtually the same bet I ended up making with Doog De Jour. He took a comment I made about the gulag out of proportion and wanted to turn it into a year long gulag bet, not something I ever agreed to. To throw him a bone, I added a month long gulag penalty for backing out of the bet. Even after all of that, he didn't take the bet, so it's on him, not on me.RedRocket said:

You bailed so a bet was made. Ask Doog De Jour maybe you can still get in on it, maybe she'll give up 6 months of avatar control and let you have the other 6 if I lose. UW loses and I get to change both of your avatars. It's her call though, not mine. It's a way to prove you're really as confident and you want everyone to think you are.PurpleJ said:

AP Preseason Top 25 Teams and their bye weeks:

Week 2 (Sept. 8):
Week 3 (Sept. 15): Michigan State
Week 4 (Sept. 22): Boise State, Utah, Northwestern, Fresno State
Week 5 (Sept. 29): Wisconsin, San Diego State, Iowa, South Florida, Houston
Week 6 (Oct. 6): Penn State, USC, TCU, Oregon, Duke, Army
Week 7 (Oct. 13): Clemson, Oklahoma, Stanford, Mississippi State, Florida State, FAU, NC State, Arkansas State, Appalachian State, Kentucky, Washington State
Week 8 (Oct. 20): Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Florida, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Boston College, Iowa State, Louisville, Northern Illinois
Week 9 (Oct. 27): Alabama, Ohio State, Auburn, Michigan, LSU, UCF, Memphis, Troy
Week 10 (Nov. 3):
Week 11 (Nov. 10): Washington, Arizona
Week 12 (Nov. 17):
Week 13 (Nov. 24):
Alabama won’t face a ranked team until LSU on Nov. 3. It will also benefit from a bye week heading into the matchup. The Tigers have one the same weekend.
Ohio State’s bye week comes late, but the Buckeyes will have it before a four-game finish that includes contests with Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska.
Auburn will have a late-October bye as well. The Tigers will need it. Road games with Georgia and Alabama will occur in November.
Michigan’s bye week splits its back-to-back matchup with Michigan State and Penn State. Considering the physicality that comes with that in-state contest, that’s a very good thing for the Wolverines.
UW will play for 10 straight weeks without a bye, finishing the stretch with a game against Pac-12 North rival Stanford.
Thanks, Larry Scott. -

Champions don't complain, they overcome. We? won't be complaining about our tough schedule next year that begins with a showdown against SEC heavy hitter Auburn (they're not good this year, but still...) and ends with 3 straight road games against Stanford, USC and UW. -

I'm at about 93% picking winners straight up over the last few years. I specialize in Bama games.

"like we say, he's fine" Coach Petentxduck said:
What happened to gaskin?Gladstone said:1. Herbert is good. Maybe great. Who knows? Has zero wins against any teams of consequence, but is super accurate and fast. He's what doogs think Locker was.
2. Oregon played, according to S&P, the worst OOC schedule in the history of the FBS. Stanford has been exposed. Likewise Cal. Embarrassing levels of bad.
3. Every intangible favors Oregon. Home game. Bye week rest. Revenge (lol). UW is beaten up and missing multiple key starters, Gaskin is hobbled, and Browning is QB
Oregon is likely somewhere between mediocre and mildly decent, with a porous secondary, but no one really knows.
No idea how this game shakes out. Reading too much into a sleepwalk performance against UCLA is dumb.
