Oregon game: what we know

2. Oregon played, according to S&P, the worst OOC schedule in the history of the FBS. Stanford has been exposed. Likewise Cal. Embarrassing levels of bad.
3. Every intangible favors Oregon. Home game. Bye week rest. Revenge (lol). UW is beaten up and missing multiple key starters, Gaskin is hobbled, and Browning is QB
Oregon is likely somewhere between mediocre and mildly decent, with a porous secondary, but no one really knows.
No idea how this game shakes out. Reading too much into a sleepwalk performance against UCLA is dumb.

Either way it'll be interesting?

We'll win.

This is the best football talk I've seen here in ages.Gladstone said:1. Herbert is good. Maybe great. Who knows? Has zero wins against any teams of consequence, but is super accurate and fast. He's what doogs think Locker was.

Kudos. -
Oregon is just good enough to make you wonder. It's weird seeing them with a TUFF identity. That being said, we better win by multiple scores or I will jump head first into the Tacoma Narrows.
-
They will attack the middle of the UW defense, and encourage Herbert to take off routinely.
On defense they will blitz the fuck out of browning. -
We are going to lose rather easily.

FIFY to remove the dooginess and better reflect reality.Gladstone said:1. Herbert is NFL caliber. He is super accurate and fast.
2. Oregon played a bad 2018 OOC schedule due to the SEC backing out of a game. Stanford has lost their superstar Bryce Love.

It will come down to whether UW can keep Hollins and Jelks away from Browning.

Good luck stopping UO's run game. We have a fresh stable of explosive backs, expect Verdell and Dye to have a big game, along with a balanced passing attack by Herbert. Would expect we concentrate on the run game though for this one.

Comparing a group of young black men to a stable of workhorses? Racist piece of shit.oregonblitzkrieg said:Good luck stopping UO's run game. Will concentrate on the run game for sure because UW has a good secondary, if we run into trouble there, look for Herbert and Mitchell to carve up the field and soften the husky defense up.

I'm saying you view black men as animals used to do your dirty work.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Is there an injury report?

Way to contradict yourself.oregonblitzkrieg said:Will concentrate on the run game for sure because UW has a good secondary, if we run into trouble there, look for Herbert and Mitchell to carve up the field and soften the husky defense up.
This game is going to come down to Oregon establishing the run and then mixing in some play action to catch the secondary cheating. If Oregon can’t establish the run, it’s going to be a long day in Eugene.
I think the ducks do establish it and win close. 27-24 -

UW doesn’t seem to have a great pass rush. Oregon is great in pass pro. Not to boast or anything, but I've got a 65-70% win ratio of picking teams on Saturday over the last two years. Said the Stanford game would come down to less than a touchdown, that we would beat a ranked Cal team on the road by 2-4 TDs.
My call for this game hasn't changed. We establish the run vs UW and win by a margin of 1-2 touchdowns imo. Very different from last year, when I picked UW to win rather easily. -
UW certainly hasn’t looked all world against the run.
-
65-70% at Picking games straight up in cfb, where teams are often favored by more than a td, is actually pretty fucking awful.oregonblitzkrieg said:Not to boast or anything, but I've got a 65-70% win ratio of picking teams on Saturday over the last two years. Do you make picks in the Pick Em thread? No? Nothing you say on this topic has any value.ntxduck said:

Harv says Petersen should be fired for playing a hurt Gaskin
So there's tbat -

hat Oregon schon einen harten Gegner gespielt?

Sounds like an obscure baseball statistic.
