Clock Mis-Managment
A mental dwarf could have managed the clock better than the coaches did on the final drive of regulation. Run the clock out, punt the ball and defend the field with about 10 seconds left. Win the game.
But that's too fucking simple and not any fun. Forget that, lets give the ball to a freshman RB and have him try to punch his way through a bunch of grasping, groping Stanford fags who are going to do everything they can to try to pry loose the ball, and did.
Strike One Cristobal.

Nice link, but you still have a coach who persists in using a QB that eliminates any chance of you capitalizing on your window of opportunity to do something.Domicillo said: -
People forget that Peterman bungled the clock in the same way a few years ago at Arizona.oregonblitzkrieg said:

Jake Browning lives for running backwards in the pocket. All of his hard work at that finally paid off.

But he learned from it maybe. I have low odds on Cristoball being functionally capable of learning.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

He didn't fuck up. Saban, Dabo, Meyer, Carroll, Belichik, Parcells, Lombardi, and Jesus go for the 1st there. It was 2nd & 2. A freshman fucked up. That's what freshman do. TBJ was dinged up apparently and the only people left on the roster to run the ball were freshman.
No one besides Jim Harbaugh calculatedly punts the ball up by 3 late. You're being a fucktard. -

It's not clear to me that Mario bungled anything on the drive. When the day comes that you can't hand the ball off to your running backs. Without calling that play high risk, you're fucked anyway. And unfortunately for Oregon, the only running backs to hand the ball off to are freshman. Where the kid fucked up wasn't fighting for extra yards, because that's where the probability of getting stripped goes up exponentially. But this idea that handing the ball off and keeping it on the ground to potential he get a first down, or at least keep the clock rolling, is fs. Most coaches make that call. The fuck up is on the kid.

I realize that down voting or what the fucking a Moster post is HCH101, but this post is spot on. Completely fucked hearted argument to suggest that handing the ball to your running back in short yardage when you're trying to kill the clock, and hopefully get a first down, is somehow a huge mistake. The kid fucked up by struggling for extra yards. That's where it happened. It's not that difficult.Mosster47 said:He didn't fuck up.
