I can't teleport the kids yet. Own a company an hour from the compound. Drive kids everywhere to school, then to office, then pick up from baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse. I have a buddy (CSB) who has a Tesla. It's pretty damn quick. But any car that you stand next to and can't tell if it's running or not is not for me.
There are electric cars that can hit well over 300 mph in a 1/4 Mile. It makes sense as there are no gears. Just like your electric drill, max power in less than a 1/2 second.
Your speed in the 1/4 is a bit off. But your point is well taken. Of course there are a shit ton of electric cars that are way better to drive than the 67. The thing has roll up windows, drives like a tank, rattles your teeth when it's at a stoplight. Has no cup holders. (Though it does have 5 ashtrays). My small block has to take race fuel that runs 10 bucks a gallon. But still wouldn't trade them for a Tesla. (Haha, who the fuck am I kidding. I can't afford a Tesla.)
