We'll be there in November, so I'm not that worried about tourist crowds. Florence will likely be a day trip from either Siena or Lucca; after Rome, we want a small town vibe for our lodging.AZDuck said:

Touch and go there for about an hour as to whether or not I needed to see a doctor. Arm blew up and felt like it was on fire, blistering and sweating for much of the morning. Subsided about noon, in time for a Kapalua coastal hike and afternoon bodysurfing at Napili. After dinner evening swim at the scene of the crime to show the jellyfish that they don't get to win goddamit
