Assuming Pete is smart enough to get a new OC & QB coach at season's end, who do we want?

I think Jeff Horton is a name to consider. He is the OC & RB coach at San Diego State... they beat both Furd & ASU this year.
He has coached OLs in the NFL, and RBs in the NFL

He has a run first offense at SDSU

Maybe a retread with some baggage, maybe too old for Pete to feel comfortable around, maybe not enough of a spread guy if Pete is infatuated with the spread, but I'd love to see a OC like Horton at UW. His experience, with the talent we can get at UW, could be the recipe for an offense that doesn't suck.

You have no idea how much I would give to have Tedford back and be at OC

I don't know... I have the impression Oregon's offense took a dive when Frost left the OC role and Lubick took over.Ice_Holmvik said:Matt Lubbick

Yeah but I'm hoping for realistic candidates. He isn't going to leave a HC role to be an OC again.jhfstyle24 said:You have no idea how much I would give to have Tedford back and be at OC
But the OC role at UW would be a step up for Horton. -

Very good coach. He might do the same weak bullshit though. I would be happy with him over Smith, but wouldn’t mind an outsider.Gladstone said:Bush Hamdan is the only correct answer. HTH.
