Sure. Given Hawkins, et al AND Peterman losing as many games in 1 3/4 years at UW as he did in his HC career at Boise. Sure. He looked fire worthy.
Given the horrendous recent history of the UW AD - it wasn't unrealistic to question whether a .500 coach was what we wanted.
