1- Do not buy tickets. Is there anything worth watching? Do not support this crap with your money. Empty seats will build a fire under Woody's ass.
2- Cancel your dogboy subscription. It's really wrong to give those pricks your money. Dogman is a propganda machine for whatever stinky, weak crap the AD dumps on the field.
See you the year Cream Puff, aka the Armenian Hamster, aka Shark is fired. Up the Revolution!

If sark is not gone this year, I'm going to do #1.
#2 has been done for 5 years. But Kim would call it addition by subtraction.

Damone! True?

1. This one is tough for me. I don't want to lose my priority and my son does love the crisp, fall afternoons (oops, cold fucking nights) with Dad. But I haven't used my tickets since the Stanford S/T cluster fuck, so they didn't get my money for those flat $9 beers in the Zone.
2. If you are paying, reading, linking, etc. that site, you need to SSBIAFF today. -
The priority doesn't matter when you can scalp/StubHub better seats for the few games actually worth attending and still save money.IrishDawg22 said:1. This one is tough for me. If anyone can think of a step three, put it out.

My relatives back in the homeland specialize in car bombs. But I am sure they could come up with something for a "certain" boat.Steve_Bowman said:If anyone can think of a step three, put it out.

Exactly. Fuck getting season tickets when you can get tix on CraigsList for the same price or cheaper. Pick a few games each year and go. Thats what I did with Boise, Arizona & Oregon this season. Plus there are still plenty of season tickets available which have great seats. As long as 7 is the coach demand isn't going to increase. If they hire Mora or DeRuyter then you can signup.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

I voted... did #1 and #2... result was that Woody downsized the stadium so my seat didn't go empty anymore. Oh well.

Losing priority is a dumb reason to keep paying. Saturdays are for my kids games and stuff around the house now and I can catch it on tv. My entertainment dollars are going to the Seahawks moving forward.

Chest I hate to break ranks with you here, but I do. (You're one of the best posters here...top three.) It's hard to give up going to games. We can't just sit back a bitch without action.
Us coming back for games is a big deal for the family. We travel 3,000 miles for games. The tailgates my son's company throws are totally of the rails. SEC type stuff, unreal. This is a really hard thing to give up but I'm doing it.
This is another one of these things in today's society where total asses are being paid millions to do a shitty job and dump on the customers. (We are customers.)

There are only two real steps us average guys take (that I can think of.) If you're not a big booster, cast your vote:
1- Do not buy tickets. Is there anything worth watching? Do not support this crap with your money. Empty seats will build a fire under Woody's ass.
2- Cancel your dogboy subscription. It's really wrong to give those pricks your money. Dogman is a propganda machine for whatever stinky, weak crap the AD dumps on the field.

I didn't renew my tickets after the 2007 season. I bought a Husky replica jersey a few years back and my wife bought me a UW Columbia jacket at the same time. That's the only money we've spent on Husky stuff in 6 years. The money that used to go towards season tickets now goes towards taking vacations, etc. After Sark got hired, I got a few calls from the Husky Ticket Office, encouraging me to get season tickets again. I asked them to remove me from their list.
Anyway, like someone mentioned above, Woodtard downsized stadium capacity so it really doesn't matter. He's charging a lot more $$$$ for his shit product and some people keep buying tickets.
I do agree with the voting with your dollars concept. That's the only thing this AD understands. Nothing will change if there are just the right number of people out there willing to pay a premium to go attend the weekly shitshow in Husky Stadium.
I would rather see my team dominate than to worry about losing my priority. Not going to games doesn't make me any less of a fan.

One bright side to the new stadium is the business case to fire a coach and pay top dollar for a winner is much higher. They financially can't justify one down year.

I think you guys are right on target. If enough people vote with their dollars, especially those donating large sums of money, there will certainly be a change. Personally, I'm not a large donor, but have donated more than enough to fund a few a scholarships over the years. I suspended those donations after three years of Ty, and again last year. An absolute truth is that in general, rewarding bad behavior is among the worst things one can do. I encourage anyone reading this to think about that for a moment.
Now, I do not and will not actually pull for the Huskies to lose games. Call that contradictory if you like, but truths are truths, and along those lines, the losses at Stanford, Oregon, at ASU and at UCLA were all predictable under this current coaching staff. The sad truth is they have the talent to play with all of those teams, they just lack the focus, attention to detail, and direction, and there is no reason to expect that this will change until an adult coaching staff is put in charge. This in itself should make a change at this point an easy decision.
Among the University's Charters is to foster competition and excellence in all things related to the University of Washington. They do a damn good job on the academic and research side of things, but are failing to follow through on the athletics side. The performance standards just aren't there. Stanford University is a shining example of how things should be done. They are proud to be one of the finest academic institutions in the world, and have world class athletics that consistently compete at the highest levels. No, they're not a football school, but they take pride in putting their best foot forward to compete against anyone in any sport they participate in. Look at the coaching churn they went through between Ty and Harbaugh and try to make the case that they're not serious about winning. Mark Emmert attempted to address this with his "Front Porch" comments regarding the football program at Washington, but he failed to follow through. It's high time Washington gets its act together and does what it takes to compete. The tradition and history are there as are world class facilities. It is truly remarkable, and more than a little disappointing, that there is any debate over making a change at this point. I guess we'll see where this heads soon enough.

@MikeDamone,
Cancelling our season tickets was about making a statement. Having the extra cash in our pockets now is a fringe benefit.
