He's citing that the last time that Romar had experienced talent was 2014-2015 and that was a great defensive team (held 4 teams under 50 points) ... so the issue had to be talent and not coaching
That the year fell apart because of Upshaw's drug issues and front court injuries ...
When called on the fact that 7 of the top 10 players (by minutes) on that team did not complete/exhaust their eligibility at UW, his opinion is that when you have a drug scandal everybody is going to transfer) ...
Now, I may not always remember everything perfectly, but I sure don't remember NWG citing a drug scandal as a reason for why he transferred when he was telling everybody that would listen to him that Romar was a shit coach. -

Maybe it's just that i've been paying more attention but there sure seems to be a ton of transfers this year. Would be huge to snag one of them.
