Typically the Judge doesn't "order" rehab - this sounds like a plea agreement between the DA and Swaye's attorney, and The Court (Judge) approved it

If Swaye has really good insurance through work his insurance company might have paid

Given Swaye's creativity and level of intelligence manifested in his writing style, I don't believe he really works at Orkin for $9 an hour, so it's possible he has a better job with private insurance --- of course lots of alcoholic / addicts are quite intelligent and drastically underachieve due to substance abuse and related issues, so anything is possible

Anyway... courts and counties often get a limited number of grants to pay for rehab, and many defendant's do go to rehab at government expense - and of course those with low cost government supplied insurance often have government insurance pay for it

Most jurisdictions are quite used to this sort of thing, all the local DA''s, judges, probation officers and competent defense attorneys know what "resources" are out there, they know the criteria, and it's business as usual

Swaye is just a piece of meat for the justice grinder, he will probably be subject to random drug screens upon release, and he will have to follow some sort of aftercare program with AA/NA meetings or "outpatient" with a private provider

I tend to cynically view rehab as just another multi-billion dollar industry at this point, though it definitely does help some people

I really like how much interest my failure of a life is generating. Let me help everyone out. I make enough money to live in a trailer, and have a motorcycle and a Jeep. Lucky for me I have a military retirement to provide all my drug and booze money. And, the military retirement thing (which I have mentioned for years on here) should clue everyone in that you are paying for my rehab, via the VA.

So thanks fuckholes for helping me with my disease and letting me fuck this hardbody redhead for a couple weeks. Judge agreed with DA/my loser lawyer to let me do rehab vice jail, and the VA picked up the tab because I am a military retiree that is clearly damaged goods. I dropped too many bombs on terrorists and now I have PTSD that makes me crave blow 24X7. And that's it.

Why not? What I love about Orkin is there are literally zero expectations. It is surprisingly good money for what I actually do, which is almost nothing. I drive to a house, park, spend 15 minutes reading this forum on a company provided iPad while sitting in the driveway. Get out, grab a sprayer and some traps, and then walk lazily around the house doing almost nothing for 15 minutes, then leave. 12 bucks an hour for that. Sometimes when I know the client isn't home I just blow it off completely. What's not to love? It's almost like free money.

I'm thinking Orkin may have terminated you due to your 30 day absence. I guess it falls under FMLA if you've been there for at least a year? My question about you returning comes from a place of love, concern and a little idolization.

Nope. As many here suspected I have a disease and that is covered under some fucking statute where they can't fire me. The other good thing about being me is having the 1st Nation Membership card. Everyone is so scared I will call them racists they let me get away with murder. Remember when I got kicked out of sexual harassment training? They gave me a day of paid vacation to "think" about things. Idiots. I'm teflon bitches!

As you know from prior experience, tossing aside a psycho is always tricky

Not saying you need any help, but you could tell her you understated the seriousness of your court case, and there's more felonies they are holding off on if you complete rehab and probation, which includes more court ordered outpatient treatment

Tell her your probation officer / drug counselor won't let you be in new relationships and violating that subjects you to prison

Basically blame the system and other people that you can't see her

Or....fuck her on the outside and post some unseemly pics of her, along with tales of what she's like all drunk and crazy
