Unions suck. Burn them down and rebuild from the ashes. Unions are part of the establishment and take money from the worker while laying down for the bosses.
Every action has a reaction. Maybe a nice death will bring back REAL unions -
at least you're honest. the amount of lying about what this law really does is maddeningRaceBannon said:Unions suck. Burn them down and rebuild from the ashes. Unions are part of the establishment and take money from the worker while laying down for the bosses.

I'm honest because I have been around unions for 40 years. They fucked me over and then I have worked non union for companies that treated me like family. I can speak for myself.
Not only that I turned union workers into non union contractors and doubled their incomes.
Unions are lazy and run by idiots and they hate the rank and file -
There was a time when unions were absolutely necessary. But like a pendulum, unions got greedy and power hungry. Not only do some unions undermine employers but they undermine the workers they represent. In most cases, they create ineffective systems that disincentivizes a worker's performance.
It's illogical to create a system that length of employment outweighs performance. Teacher unions are a perfect example. You have some 20 year teachers sitting on their ass showing movie videos all day collecting 75k/year, while the 3rd year teacher down hall is working her ass off making 40k. -
The government is the main union now with worker protection. Unions exist to take worker money and give it to politicians

https://nrtwc.org/facts-issues/national-right-to-work-act/
"The National Right to Work Act is a very simple bill with one purpose: To give individual workers the freedom to decide for themselves whether or not a labor union deserves their financial support, as they can for any other private organization.
The National Right to Work Act would not add a single word to federal law. It would simply repeal five provisions in the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and one in the Railway Labor Act (RLA) that authorize the firing of workers for refusal to pay union dues or fees to union officials.
Under current federal law, unions can strip workers of the right to represent themselves, then force those workers to pay for the union’s so-called “representation,” which the workers don’t want, didn’t ask for and believe they would be better off without." -
taft Hartley already made the ability to join the union optional.Sledog said:https://nrtwc.org/facts-issues/national-right-to-work-act/

Right to work is a scam in which people freeload off of the union who is still forced to offer representation to workers that don't pay dues.
doesn't surprise me that your "source" doesn't say that tho.
It's a scam to destroy unions. if you are for that, like race, just say it. -
If you guys really think unions are just parasites why do right to work states have on average worse wages worse benefits far worse working conditions?

Damn straight. Once unions are out of the way we can get back to paying 10-year-olds $1.25 for a 14-hour workday and start exporting shoes, cell phones, and golf clubs to China and Mexico. Then Mexico will beg us to let them pay for the wall. Triple win for 'Merica!

It's almost like you already have a choice in America to work for union or a family run business.RaceBannon said:I'm honest because I have been around unions for 40 years. They fucked me over and then I have worked non union for companies that treated me like family. I can speak for myself.

Or you can not pay union dues and get fired. Not because of job performance but because you didn't want to pay the democrat/liberal union. I don't hear anyone pissing about police and fire unions that aren't allowed to strike or ability to stage any work actions or actually have free speech. Oh yeah forgot it's the left (IE: commies nowadays) and they hate police and fire or any form of authority except them if they are running the government. Then they'll want to execute you.

plenty of fucked up, corrupt, greedy ass unions and plenty still have mob ties
that doesn't mean we should weaken them even more. Jesus Christ. People have the right to collectively bargain for better wages, safety, fewer hours etc. Union membership went from over 30 percent to like 8 now (that might be private sector, too tired and lazy to look it up). I've lived in both a strong union state and a right to work state. DHDawg is 100% correct. Right to work is total scam propagated by corrupt right wing fags who don't give two shits about the middle class or most of their constituents really. -
Because they pay at the Federal minimum wage level.dhdawg said:If you guys really think unions are just parasites why do right to work states have on average worse wages worse benefits far worse working conditions?
Turds shouldn't make more than half of the diamonds.
Minimum wage workers only exist to make the lives of people who generate money easier or to do something that is such a minimal skilled task you're expected to be proficient by the end of day one.
Why middle class idiots want the turds to get a pay raise meaning the government just nicely raised taxes on the poor and everyone who makes more than them just took a pay cut is FS.
