Texas Tech defensive (lol) tackle visiting?

I don't fault the kid for not being inspired by a HC who is even Sarkier than Sark

He'd have to sit a year, correct?

Yes. Didn't redshirt though so he still has 3 yearsGrundleStiltzkin said:He'd have to sit a year, correct?

Don't expect him to end up at UW. If he visits it's probably just for leverage. He's probably worth $20k- $25k - a lot for a guy that likely sits behind Gaines and Vea.bananasnblondes said:Word going around that Braden Fehoko will visit UW.

I know you are being sarkastic but he's a 2018 kidBaseman said:

Exactly. That's why I can't see him coming here. He's going to get paid.TommySQC said:

You heard it from the Troll first. UW is a great landing spot for Breiden.

Helton sucks and I'm glad he is USC's coach but his season last year was way better than any Sark season.bananasnblondes said:Word going around that Braden Fehoko will visit UW.

I don't care about this kid too much but he should provide seasoned depth since we will be losing Vea and possibly Gaines.

I'm slow. Mind explaining how he will get paid? Doesn't he have to sit out a year everywhere?Baseman said:

Are we talking a coffee cup stashed with cash kind of payment? -

Oops. Getting a player off Texas Tech's D is like getting one off Cal. I also see the side where it's probably hard to develop under a coach who doesn't give a shit about defense.bananasnblondes said:

Trufant was a junior on the 2011 defense that gave up 67 to Baylor. Ta'Amu played in the NFL for a couple years. Bad coaching will make even good players look like shit. -

I don't care how he did at ttu. This guy is clearly talented and will develop under this staff. We need him
-
Pete Kwiatkowski knows what he's doing. If he offers this kid, it tells me that he can develop him. Good enough for me.
-
That's why I love Ali Gaye so much. I know a guy like that will develop into a monster because literally every DL that has played since Petersen came has been good or at least greatly improved. He has the size and tools and will get the coaching.Passion said:Pete Kwiatkowski knows what he's doing. If he offers this kid, it tells me that he can develop him. Good enough for me.
Mediocre to worthless guys like Andrew Hudson, Tupou, Turpin developed. Turpin actually played well and made an impact against Alabama.
Vea went from being a guy with talent but mediocre as a R-FR to being a monster.
Our front 7 next year is going to be scary good. We need a young guy at Buck to develop, which is likely. There is nothing better for a young secondary than a front 7 like ours. -
Agreed - when you have Derpin' Turpin balling out against Bama, you've earned the benefit of the doubt.Passion said:Pete Kwiatkowski knows what he's doing. If he offers this kid, it tells me that he can develop him. Good enough for me.

Kawasaki is a fucking genius. DL play underneath him has been great.

Question to all.
So does Kawasaki/Ikaika coach the BUCK position and Gregory coaches the SAM position? -
I'm excited for Amandre. I thought Tevis made great strides too. 9.5 TFL's in limited playing time is pretty good.NEsnake12 said:

I wouldn't be shocked if Sterk or Justus Warren ended up decent either.
Buck and Sam seems pretty similar in our defense because a lot of time we only play two down lineman so there are a lot of guys in the mix.
I do hope at least one guy separates themselves and becomes a true core guy that we can consistently rely on. -
Kawasaki is Buck/Sam, malloe DT (we really don't have true DE) Gregory is MIK and WILWeakarmCobra said:Question to all.

Benning is going to make a huge jump next year, the criticism of him this year was dumb. Amandre is super talented too, he'll flash this year for us.NEsnake12 said:

All those articles did was make me wish we had Stringfellow on our roster when we played Bama.Baseman said:

Warren came in late when we were curb stomping Oregon and was at BUCK. So I assume he'll be there going forward.WeakarmCobra said:

You like Benning at Buck? I personally think he should put on 10-15 and play DL. He was decent this year. He just looks kind of stiff to me.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:
