Mark was fired after the Cal loss. Troof.

Doesn't Colorado have a law that disallows state employees from having longer than 1 year contacts or something? If so this was inevitable.

I said this to a friend ealier tonight. Paying SEC money for coordinators is serious about football.AZDuck said:
We had a good run. This hire tells me that Oregon is actually SERIOUS about football and hopefully we'll be back in contention in a year or three.Gladstone said:fan of 4-8 team talking playoff smack

Leavitt had a multi-year deal. The university gets an exemption for a certain number of employees. Can't remember exactly how many but I believe it includes the HCs of football, men's bball, women's bball and both coordinators for football. But yeah, the law hurts us.Mad_Son said:Doesn't Colorado have a law that disallows state employees from having longer than 1 year contacts or something? If so this was inevitable.
On the bright side we just picked up a pretty big time JC DT signing today that pretty much everyone was expecting to go to Arkansas (with Florida and Ole Miss in the mix as well). Desperate area of need with Tupou gone and poor d-line recruiting over the past few years. Probably the most important recruit of the class no matter who else we pick up. -
Yeah, Oregon has never thrown any money at sports. What a fucking dook.Mosster47 said:

You're barking up the wrong tree sweetheart. I've no idea if Taggert is going to work out or not. Nor am I even "excited" or "hopeful." The results will show on the field.RaceBannon said:
Hey you have plenty of room in the trophy case for that off season natty. Stay positiveMikeSeaver said:
At least one of us is consistent around here.
