You can't be National Champ if you can't be Conference Champ unless you're into faggy millennial shit.

    1984 USC says "this".

This will be the year the expand to 8 chorus really starts to grow. Leaving out conference champs that BEAT the team replacing them (should PSU beat Wiscy) looks bad. Committee is probably really hoping for a Climpson or UW loss to make their life much easier.

Just a small correction. It's Climzin.

Conference champs get a New Years 6 bowl game. Does Oklahoma deserve a spot over Ohio state if they win the conference and Clemson and Washington lose even though Ohio state beat the ever living shit out of them on their home field? Not all conference schedules are equal even within the own conference.
With that logic we could have a playoff selection of Colorado, penn state, Oklahoma and Florida/va tech depending on what happens on Saturday. A playoff without Alabama and Ohio state regardless of what happens on Saturday is stupid.

Bama won the title without winning their division because they were the best team

    Ohio State is in

I think the only way Ohio State might miss out is if Clemson, Washington, and Penn State all win.

In that scenario, the committee has to choose h2h+conference title or vastly better overall resume.

Penn State lost to Pitt and so did Clemson. Fuck them both

Not if you're the champ and beat the fuck tards in front of you

Agree mostly, but since we want to do this play off shit, conference championships in the power 5 should count for something

Pretty sure that the committee has stated that winning your conference carries a lot of weight in their eyes. Time to back up their talk.

Ohio State beat 3 teams currently in the top 10 (Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Michigan).

They lost one game by 3 to another top 10 team. They belong and are going.

Disagree, pick the champ or pick the best fucking team, however you can't pick both.... if that was the case then is Bama, Michigan, Ohio State and the winner of Wisconsin and Penn State
