Maybe this week though I think it's unlikely. No chance next week.
Who esle could get it next week?
I know you're trolling but what the hell. Bama, Clemson and Ohio State are locks to be ahead of Michigan this week. And after next week the Big Ten champ will be, as well as UW If UW wins.
Michigan cannot be top 4 in the end cause the committee can't take 3 teams from the same conference and OSU and the BIG champ are locks to go ahead of Harbaugh.
Michigan lost its playoff game yesterday. They're done.
I would guess they come on no higher than 5 this week and probably 6.

Michigan is going to fall to 7 at least.
Here's how I think it looks:
1. Alabama 2. Ohio State (will fall to 4 or 5 next week though) 3. Clemson 4. Washington 5. Wisconsin 6. Penn State 7. Michigan 8. Colorado 9. might as well be Cal
If I ran the committee, I'd have it like this: 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Washington 4. Wisconsin 5. Penn State 6. Ohio State 7. Michigan 8. Colorado 9. might as well be Cal
Ohio state should get in over penn state or Wisconsin. Nobody plays a round robin schedule so the conference championship should be minimized. Losing 49-10 to Michigan and getting in the playoff is stupid. Wisconsins big win is nebraska or lsu.

I get your reasoning but I disagree. There's no reason to limit the perspective to conference games. Ohio State played a tougher non conference than any of the Big Ten teams and destroyed Oklahoma doing it. That's more than enough tiebreaker to put them over a team with more losses against a worst schedule (PSU), and a team with more losses against a worst schedule who they beat head to head (Wisconsin).
For me it should be:
Bama OSU Clemson UW Wisconsin Penn State Michigan Colorado Oklahoma USC
