I'm calling for Trump to pardon her if it gets to that.

If Trump was actually the man he is pretending to be he would make pardons a thing of the past.GrundleStiltzkin said:I'm calling for Trump to pardon her if it gets to that.
He is fighting to end corruption. A pardon is mostly used as a get out of jail free card for a buddy that did something corrupt. -
The thing I never understood about Snowden.
If the NSA is so all seeing, and all knowing.
How the fuck did they not know he was stealing their shit?
Come on.
If we are so worried they might see I went to a gay interracial midget porn festival site four nights ago at 1 AM ... how in the fuck did they not see the very guy stealing shit from them from their own headquarters.
Maybe ... the NSA doesn't see everything we think they see.
Snowden is a spy ... needs to be put to death. -

I was being a partisan hack on Assange. To be consistent he needs to answer for what he did as well.BearsWiin said:
On Snowden, looks like it. But if you support what Assange did, then we differ (and you would be wrong((!!!!))).RaceBannon said:
Do we actually agree on this?BearsWiin said:
Can I hang him because I support keeping my government's secrets secret, and not compromising the work and safety of State Dept. employees around the world, our intelligence operations and operatives, and those foreign nationals who work with us? Can I reasonably expect somebody in his position to go through established whistleblower channels instead of going straight to publicly airing our dirty laundry for all to see?ThomasFremont said:Assange and Snowden both helped pull the curtain back, albeit in different ways.
If you support mass surveillance of American citizens by the gubmint, then by all means, hang Snowden and send a message to anyone else working on the inside that might dare to speak out on behalf of the people.
People betray their country for MICE. Money, ideology, compromise, and/or ego. Snowden seems to have an ideological bent more than ego, Assange more an ego bent than ideological. I'd like to see both of them prosecuted vigorously (yes, I know Assange isn't American, but he is wanted by three govts., including the US).
Maybe we should take a shot a peace in the Middle East while we're on a roll -

You don't look into your own people. -
Except they do. It's out there in the open now and has been since Snowden blew the whistle on the Prism program.topdawgnc said:The thing I never understood about Snowden.

But if you want to take solace in their incompetence, go for it. -

Snowden's biggest problem is today's expansive definition of "war" and whether he did anything to aid the enemy. Technically, we've been at war, against Terror, since 2001. Might make for some good Supreme Court arguments, but I like the Govt's chances, given no SC Justice wants to look like a pussy, and will cast a "Hillary On Iraq" vote to avoid popular backlash. -
I was talking about the actions by the gov't itself. I have no doubt if he came back he'd be killed barring a pardonTurdBuffer said:
