More Miami board stalking:
Miami Top247 DE commit DJ Johnson took an official visit to Washington this past weekend. Things apparently went well. He told our Washington site that the trip was a '10 out of 10' but that he remains committed to the Hurricanes and will visit Coral Gables officially in January.
My take: This was Johnson's first official visit, so I think that he has got a little caught up in the moment in terms of how good things went. I do think that Washington is a real threat to the Hurricanes, but Coach Kul has done a nice job recruiting Johnson to date, and that counts.
The biggest thing that will help Miami in my opinion is having that official visit date in January where Miami will be able to get Johnson's parents on campus for the first time. -
