The danger

The danger is I could have been two years off and this is the 92 team, where as soon as something goes wrong they fall apart, lose at WSU and blow the bowel game.
I don't think that happens, but it's on the table after that disaster.
Break the ASU streak and beat the shit out of them to restore some confidence.
And then for once it will be actually beat WSU nothing else matters.

We should plunger ASU period. Playoff pressure is gone now (though Clemson and Michigan just shat themselves too). Rose Bowl or bust, same as it ever was.
-
Playoffs are very much still on the table. Clemson, Michigan, Auburn and TAMU all lost today. We're not 100% in control of our own destiny anymore but I'd say we have at least a 75% shot at playoffs if we win out.UWhuskytskeet said:We should plunger ASU period. The problem is winning out. -
We literally will move down 2 spaces
-
I mean.. that USC team completely outplayed us on the road in a hostile environment. I'm not sure we "should have won" that game.

Get your facts out of my narrative asshole!PineapplePirate said:I mean.. that USC team completely outplayed us on the road in a hostile environment. I'm not sure we "should have won" that game.

Win out and we could get in. USC is better than Pitt and Iowa
-
Good this will refocus their cocky asses

I wish that were the case, but I think we'll fall several spots. There's just too many quality one loss teams.backthepack said:We literally will move down 2 spaces

No. There are six of them and one of the six is West Fucking Virginia.Doog_de_Jour said:

This is a very good team - Not a great one
They are close but tonight showed WE still need more bullets. DEs with length that can rush the passer. Quality LB depth (6'3 230/240 lbs. sorry BBK) that can run and hit. WRs (6'1 - 6'3") that can go across the middle and a threat to supplement / replace John Ross.
I'm on board with Peterman. Tonight wasn't a surprise. It still sucks. The offensive scheme sucked balls. USC's defensive front 7 punched us in the Dick. Opportunities @ Nattys are rare. Suck it up. Get better.
And @Hoss94, if you're reading this; yes, we are a bunch of sick fucks. But I promise you no other crew Doogs your son more than this one.
I hope the injury isn't serious. We need Azeem and his aura back on the field. Peace out.

There are 4 (not including us) one loss teams el oh el fucktardDoog_de_Jour said:

Yikes. I stand corrected. In my grief/anger over the loss tonight my memory failed and thought there were more.dnc said:

Regardless, I still wouldn't be shocked if the committee bumps us down more. -
Short term, perhaps (though I don't think we fall past 7th). Long term, if we add wins over WSU + the P12 title game, and either Michigan or tOSU adds an inevitable loss, we'll be looking pretty good. There just aren't many 2 loss teams who could get in ahead of us if we win out, and there aren't many one loss teams period.Doog_de_Jour said:

I like to say weeks ago that this team felt like the 90 team when others said BEFORE THE SEASON that this year was 90 ... way to pat yourself on the back
-
I believer our D will be a lot better next year.. Our RS FR rn have tons of speed Wellingin runs a legit 4.4-4.5, Milo is long and runs a 4.6, Levi is a fucking monster he will be a 1st rounder imo, Amandre looks to be a freak, BP will only get better, Victor and Bierra will most certainly stay now, our DB crootin is so good we will be able to mask those loses, although if Qualls and Vea declare we are fucked.

Qualls is gone, Vea should be back. Victor it all depends on how bad the injury is.backthepack said:I believer our D will be a lot better next year.. Offense will be shit because we lose John "2 wins" Ross. We will still be stuck a noodle armed qb and a dumbass OCdhdawg said:

Any regression next year is defensively -
I wouldn't even say we lost one we shouldn't. USC outplayed us. You play that game 10 times and USC wins more than they loses. They outschemed and outplayed us. Only area we were better today was our run D vs their run O.
-
Warshington is very much in play for the playoff, but, and I know it's a loser mentality, the Rose Bowl looks better than it did after "we" were exposed like that. LIPO though. The Sun Bowl is also still in play.
-
In a just world, the offense should be an order of magnitude better in 2017.dhdawg said:

This year was about wr play and between Pettis and Ross it's been an A. Next year is all about DE and who takes over for Pslam/Mathis.Baseman said:This is a very good team - Not a great one

Right now all we have there are JAG's. We need two of three between Bennie P/Williams/Levi to make huge contributions -
