No link, apparently shots fired near the protest in Seattle. 3 people shot

Why shouldn't they go out and protest? The Republicans called Obama a traitor and a secret Muslim, so you can get fucked if you're going to turn around and ask for people to not insult Herr Trump.

The electoral college is a reactionary institution invented by the Framers as a tool to maintain white supremacy in the slave states. Trump didn't even get as many votes as Romney, so fuck him.

Uh...maybe to grant slave states more power in executive elections, but I am not sure it was per se to maintain white supremacy in slave states. And that still wouldn't mean there are not benefits to an electoral college that were not necessarily planned or foreseen. I guess I am also sympathetic to the Fredrick Douglass interpretation of the constitution.
Hillary didn't even get as many votes as Romney, so fuck her.

It gave the slave states outsized governmental power in relation to their population, which they used to protect slave labor from Northern reformers.
