Since I saw firsthand what Tedford did in his third year at Cal (and the improvement in the second half of his second year(and I think there were signs that things were really starting to come together late last season)) I expected something similar from Petersen because I think he's a better HC than Tedford ever was. I think I cautiously predicted 10 wins, because I figured that furd and Oregon would still be tough and UW would lose one of those two, and they'd have a random letdown game somewhere else along the way (Cal!). Fortunately for Dawg fans, Petersen's playing by HIS script, and not YOUR* script.

Good question Roadie. I saw that it could be coming because I think Petersen develops players and perhaps coaches better than just about anyone out there. I still thought this much improvement was unlikely though.
And some of the wet blankets are correct...do it against someone good then I'll start doing backflips. -
I wan't us to go 13-0 and make the playoffs. I'm smart enough to realize that we probably can't compete with the other playoff teams this year, but we are plenty good enough to win out in a weak Pac-12. I would love to be proven wrong and see my DAWGS shock the nation and win the natty.DerekJohnson said:

Since we're all jinxing this weekend (realize a browning,adams,victor,or JR3 injury would fuck everything up).
I don't think the speculated playoff teams are that far above us, and I bet that any sober minded coach wants nothing to do with a mysterious washington team lead by a coach thats proven to scheme the shit out of big games.
Like McGary has said, we'll go as far as we decide to go, as any loss we have will be 90% self inflicted. -
