With that all said, I'm more and more sold on Bohl. This man ha done miraculous things and they don't just complete a twelve game schedule in the FCS, they have 4 rounds of playoffs. This guy is winning 15-16 games year for the past 2 years, repeating as NC last year, and it appears no one will touch him again this season to make it another 15-16 win season.
He's doing this from Fargo, North Dakota and they play in a dome and win all tier games on the road too. There's no allure to Fargo let alone ND, their weather isn't optimal, but their coaching in all aspects is. Bring his fundamentals, his philosophies, and winning attitude in and you might have a recipe for what we lucked out on back in 1975 and enjoyed for nearly 20 years.
Sadly I can see him leaving for elsewhere after his 3peat NC while we linger and get plunger raped for at least another season.
Just watch wherever he ends up in the FBS, I think he will be successful. -
The only real problem with Bohl is that Pelini may get axed to leave soon. I expect that is the job Bohl would want the most. The light schedule Nebraska faces may save Pelini's job though.

I could see Bohl going to Nebraska and if Iowa is serious enough about football, they'd get rid of Kirk Ferentz and get Bohl. Bohl knows the Midwest talent like no other and with a bigger university and more resources, he'd be salivating at the opportunities.

I really like DeRuyter. Was a DC for 17 years at four different schools. Here are the improvements in D under him:loadsock said:With that all said, I'm more and more sold on Bohl. Ohio 99th to 22nd
Nevada 78th to 48th
Air Force 78th to 11th
Texas A&M 104th to 21st
He was at each place only 2-3 years, so it was a quick turnaround in every case.
In his first year at Fresno, he was 7-1 in conference. Fresno was 8-7 the last two years in conference and TUFF Pat Hill never went 7-1 in conference. Not once.
Bottom line is any of these 3 guys would be a HUGE upgrade over the piece of shit we currently have. -
Then we can hire Kirk Ferenz, another doog legend
-
How the fuck does that guy still have a job?RaceBannon said:Then we can hire Kirk Ferenz, another doog legend

didn't some doogs want muschamp, he's gonna be available after this season, can't imagine florida not firing his ass after this disaster he's built
-
I heard dick tomey is available. In all reality I think last year would have been the best year with either bielma or Gary Anderson available.
Look for lower paid successful bcs coaches that you could throw money at. -
Wasn't Muschamp offered the job when Ty was fired?
