    No coordinators for Christ's sake

Scott Frost, Doug Nussmeier, Ray Horton....

Just proves these guys are truly fucking morons and should have their fingers cut off before they share such idiotic ideas.

Mora, Craig Bohl & Tim DeRuyter should be the top 3.

Any coaching wish list that doesn't include these three is fucking stupid. I keep seeing Doogs suggesting unproven coaches to replace Sark or Gary Pinkel.

These fucking idiots just never learn. Even when they get it right finally with suggest a coach is fired they bring up fucking lame choices.
The other name circulating on Doog Central is Jim Tressel but predictably he doesn't win the right way.

I wouldn't mind Tressel but I think he can't coach until what? 2016? So he's not a real option at all and given his age I doubt he ever coaches again in college.

    Chris petersen if interested
    Craig bohl

    Kirby Smart?

Yes, not a head coach. But tutelage under Saban... Defense oriented...

Let's fire Sark who had no prior head coaching experience and hire another coach with no head coaching experience?

    Fucking brilliant!
There's no evidence to support the idea that experienced coaches are more successfull than coordinators when moving up the ladder.

    This is true.

However, you don't want to go back to the same well that you went to last time.

why would he have any interest in coming here? SEC coordinators don't usually go to the pac-12

    We got Wilcox.

I'm not sure it matters what well you go to with who is in charge of making this decision. Just throw a dart blindfolded.

I just don't think you can justify making the same type of hire after Sark failed. You tried the hire a coordinator with no head coach experience and it failed.

Time to hire an established head coach.

Rick Neuheisel---He's tanned, rested, ready, and would totally piss-off all the right people.

I would take Rick Neuheisel over Sark despite all of Rick's flaws.

However being better than Sark isn't the criteria for being our next head coach I hope.

    Because he has a CONTRACT!!

Read this. Especially the bit about 'donor class'. It should all ring very familiar. This is very close to why Sark isn't going anywhere either,
    minus the moronic buyout terms.

Then we can hire Kirk Ferenz, another doog legend

How the fuck does that guy still have a job?

I know you are being sarcastic, but I wouldn't be surprised at all for us to shell out 3+ million for an 8-4 type coach from another conference.

I would love Petrino. However we all know there is no way in fuck soft ass Seattle would ever consider bringing him in.

We'd rather "lose the right way" than win dirty.

yeah... regarding Petrino, he has a little too much baggage. I am not against guys like Tressel who broke relatively minor stupid NCAA rules, but Petrino is a flake, And he will probably end up doing something stupid within a couple of years. The way he left the Falcons was classless and the thing with the 25-year-old is probably going to get most people fired nowadays, right or wrong. We are living in emasculated times, and Suckattle is ground zero.

and like you said its a moot point anyway

I could definitely see another Ty type hire, with this fucktarded front office anything is possible

Yea I'm feeling a "name" hire who is pretty average track record.
