Look, we all want to win a Natty every year, we wanted Petersen to walk in and change us into Alabama on steroids within the first half hour...

I also want the Oregon cheer squad to beg me for a night of round robin with them providing the blow, pot and scotch.

But it's not possible or realistic.

Anyone who watched Lambo and then Neu and then Gilby and then Ty and then Sark and couldn't tell over the last two seasons that Pete was different, I can't help you.

A coach, if he's good, should show it in the first three years.

DJ took year three, Pete is doing the same.

After a promising start, I watched a Lambo coached team fall flat on their face.

The 6-0 start is promising, indeed. It does not, however, erase the talent and winnable games pissed last year and 2014.

My Doog milestones: First- win the PAC-12. Second- Preferably undefeated regular schedule Third - Get a playoff berth. Fourth - Win the semi-final game Finally - Win the final game and hoist the Natty trophy.

Until then, I'm enjoying the wins and keeping a healthy skepticism.

I've loved Pete throughout, but I certainly can't fault the people that said they weren't impressed with him in his first two seasons.

I just felt that after all the years of bullshit about "we are building something" that we were actually building something.

It continues to amaze me that some of the same people who were so right in pointing out everything that was fucked up under Sarkisian expected them to be fixed overnight.
    You don't get it.

I was always relatively confident that Pete was going to be successful, but I always thought Smith was a limpdick joke of a coach who looked like a lesbian. He still looks like a lesbian, but fuck me if he hasn't proved us all wrong. He's been calling some fantastic games and has been running circles around opposing defensive coordinators. And he definitely deserves a lot of credit for Browning becoming a legitimate Heisman contender.

Babushka decided to go Putin on the conference.

Our offense so far has been more consistent than our defense, and is the reason we didnt lose in Arizona for the 81st fucking time in a row

I think going to 2 dl vs the spread has been a mistake, but one that we might see adjusted over the bye week by Coach K. Otherwise, the D would be near perfect this year.
