I don't follow politics too closely, but my observation is it's a lot more condemning to outwardly say you're voting for Trump over Clinton. You are blanketed a racist/sexist as soon as you say it. In California, a lotta "I know Hilary is suspect, but no way would I vote for him" in conversations with hispanic women present, but the lack of conviction is pretty telling.
