I'd have to say that Jordan had a couple of Seasons that would measure up or surpass this Season too. Also consider a lot of those motherfuckers didn't have the advantage of the three point line. That is a shitload of buckets. McAdoo and Barry would have slaughtered scoring records.

Imagine Pistol Pete with Steve Kerr as his coach and 3 point line.
Maravich was hated in his day in the NBA by his own team mates. A completely different game and type of player back then.
There have been a lot of great handles and shooters that were buried in a different game.
