Grade 1 sprain superiority guy.Tequilla said:

TSIO
If it was a Grade 2 sprain, the odds of him returning before the Finals would be slim to none.
Grade 1 probably puts him best case at the back end of a lengthy series against the Clippers but more likely at some point during the series against the Spurs.
With the type of medical support around for a NBA organization, it's likely that he'll be able to return on the front end of recovery time than the back end of it.
Assuming he's back in a series against the Spurs, I would expect that he'd have some rust to his game. It probably levels the playing field a bit as I would expect the Warriors to win the series in probably 5 or 6 games with everybody 100% healthy. Very likely that you're looking at a 7 game series at this point. -

I think his point was that the Spurs could shit themselves against OKC.doogsinparadise said:

I'm surprised that there hasn't been any Blazers bandwagoning. Only down 2-1.

On behalf of my fellow Blazers fans:doogsinparadise said:I'm surprised that there hasn't been any Blazers bandwagoning. Only down 2-1.
The Clippers and Blazers both suck. -
This Spurs team had the best regular season of any Popovich coached team. The Warriors season has clouded how good the Spurs are.
Whether Curry plays or not, tsio for the Warriors. They need superstar Curry, not the dinged up version he will be, if he can even play. -
Have you considered the possibility that the rest of the NBA is hot garbage?RoadDawg55 said:This Spurs team had the best regular season of any Popovich coached team. The Warriors season has clouded how good the Spurs are.

Curry's shooting makes him an all time great, it's inaccurate to say otherwise. Absolutrly no one has shot the three like he has.
-
Even if that were true, it wouldn't change the fact that a hobbled Curry and the Warriors aren't beating a full strength San Antonio. You heard it here first Boobie.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

This Clippers/Blazers shit is completely unwatchable.

The Blazers defense. The Clippers black unis. The constant "Beat LA" chants. I have no idea what you're talking about.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

The Blues would beat the Clippers.

I've always hated watching the Clips. Boring af basketball, lame personalities, terrible coach.

Any concern that the Warriors may struggle getting to the West Finals is now gone ... Curry has 3 weeks to get healthy ... that should be enough time
-
It's fun to watch them lose.doogsinparadise said:I've always hated watching the Clips. Boring af basketball, lame personalities, terrible coach.

Not to mention awful fans. *cough Bill Simmons cough*

We* are only five more well-timed injuries away from the title.

The Cavs suckRaceBannon said:If you guys can't see that Karma is with the Cavs this year I can't help you. I knew Curry was going to get hurt but was asked to hold on to the information until it could be made public
True. But where else will you see double air ball free throws and a half dozen extra manufactured 30 second timeouts to allow Doc Rivers and Chris Paul (r i p) undress officials?TierbsHsotBoobs said:

For some guys they are. Curry, LeBron, Durant... There are probably a few others. There is no way to overcome the loss of a true superstar.RaceBannon said:#MyCavs

If Klay got hurt I wouldn't let that be an excuse. Curry is a different story. -
Play in the Finals without Love and Irving and then pop off. I was told over and over it was no excuse.RoadDawg55 said:

Love sucks. Irving is good, but he's like Klay. The guy who replaced him defended Curry better than anyone.RaceBannon said:

No team in the NBA is winning without their superstar. The Bulls would have never won shit if Jordan had gotten injured. The Lakers wouldn't have won if Kobe was injured. -
Love is a lot better this year especially after the coaching change
The Warriors still have the Finals MVP. No excuses -
In fairness the East was dreck last year so getting to the Finals isn't anything to be crowned for ... A LBJ only led team in the West would have been lucky to get out of the 1st roundRaceBannon said:

Guess that's why they could have realistically taken the Warriors to 7 games.Tequilla said:

In fact the Bulls didn't win shit when Jordan "retired." And that's with a Hall of Famer in Pippen running the show.RoadDawg55 said:

It's sad that an MJ/Hakeem finals didn't happen when they were both at the height of their games.doogsinparadise said:

Also, MJ played in '95, the only playoffs he missed were '94.
