Hope I'm not hurting anyone's feelings but I haven't really enjoyed any of the podcasts
that have recently been produced. Race and I-Dawg had a chemistry that just worked and they made you laugh. These other podcasts sound forced and trying to imitate what has been done before. They can all go away and I couldn't care less. Sorry. -

Chest is betraying the vision of his podcast regardless of this site and its posters. Maybe he feels as though with Petersen, the problems have been solved and the proof is in SRS, but real success hasn't happened yet (though I think he will do good things). It said in the damn intro that they don't ride the athletic department's coattails (now that's been abruptly edited out...interesting....).
I'm not doing backflips over the status quo btw....but it goes much beyond two people....at the risk of sounding all preachy, with freedom comes responsibility. This site can be great if it wants to be. There's a higher percentage of football and basketball talk on Gaynold's site, but the talk is censored or undermined and it's a haven for senile ranting Mormon boosters who rant and Walla Walla braggarts and all their devotees, plus lawyers who post their wife in underwear. So all the people who can't stand that environment came here, but then you get some of the stuff Puppy rants about here.

I've always been a PosiChest. I liked him on Dawgman, loved him on the Pit, even exchanged a number of PM's with him over the years. Almost even met him in REAL life last time I was in Seattle. We're about the same age and have very similar experiences as UW fans. Even though I wasn't a big follower of the pod cause I'm not that into the specific medium, I always wanted it to do well because Chest is an easy guy to root for. I'm also probably as PosiMetrics as anyone still here.
When this whole thing came out I thought Chest was going to separate the pod from the boreds but reappear as @ACSlaterDawg or @PeterNorthDawg or @SexMoney or @ReggieIsGod and it would be all good. As such I wished him well.
After reading this, that's obviously not the case. He clearly has some much deeper issues with us(?) than simply keeping him from podcast access. This is disappointing to me on a bunch of levels. I still hate to see him go, but it's clearly for the best.
RIP, ole fren.

If/when he returns he should be welcomed back here with open arms. But still given a lot of shit. He was a good dude for a long time. Derek made us: he certainly helped. The podcast also brought others here and the threads after were good football talk. I'm a fan of Race and Derek, but it's like saying Kim and Samek made them.
