I'm not doing backflips over the status quo btw....but it goes much beyond two people....at the risk of sounding all preachy, with freedom comes responsibility. This site can be great if it wants to be. There's a higher percentage of football and basketball talk on Gaynold's site, but the talk is censored or undermined and it's a haven for senile ranting Mormon boosters who rant and Walla Walla braggarts and all their devotees, plus lawyers who post their wife in underwear. So all the people who can't stand that environment came here, but then you get some of the stuff Puppy rants about here.

Chest needs to focus on his new venture and stop trying to control the behavior of the fanbase. In so doing, he's already playing toady to the AD and her feel-good branding efforts. The AD's repulsion at this site is just as likely to result in 25% growth in the near term as it is to cause it a slow death, because true fans hate sanitized, controlled, media speak and the sycophantic bobble-head transcriptionists masquerading as "news reporters" who air and publish it. UW is still a low 2nd tier team at best in the Pac. UW needs to simply beat out 5 teams and win the North, otherwise nothing has changed since 2000.
I've always been skeptical of the Peterman hire, because of the weak results from all the other BSU "legendary" coaching hires.
UW should get to 10 victories this year with this defense, but Peterman and Smith will probably only get to 8-9.
This site is probably the best at pointing out the obvious weaknesses of the team. I can tell the coaches read this site, because they do tend to fix the dumb things about the team within a week, which we all eventually point out.
This site provides value to the football team and coaches.
There will be limited criticism of the AD and coaches if Peterman gets to 10 wins this year.
