And Tony Bennett couldn't win with Seattle players. Let's look at this.

In 06/07, he took WSU to the second round. Romar? No postseason.

07/08, he took WSU to the sweet 16. Romar? CBI first round.

Bennett won't come back to the northwest, but if he did, I'd welcome him over Romar any day.

Nobody said they'd take Romar over Bennett dumbass. We said there are other coaches who can win at UW and are better fits than kjstoph2's mancrush.
    We?

    And reread the thread.

Does Bennett have this same UW team in the NCAA? Does Romar have Virginia as a number 1 seed?

Virginia isn't as good as they were last year with anderson. But brogdon had a terrible game yesterday and they almost beat a ref hot unc team.
If they go out early it wouldn't shock me, but this could be their year

The entire point is Romar sucks, Oregon #1 seed , Virgina #1 seed

Washington not even a 1 seed in the NIT

No, that wasn't the point. Everyone here already knows that Romar sucks. If that's your poont, why don't you remind everyone that water is fucking wet while you're at it.

When Sark was the coach, everyone with half a brain already knew he sucked. But that doesn't mean we? wanted Pat Hill to replace him.

Dude, is kjstoph paying you to suck off Bennett this hard?

Yeah, a coach that we don't want at UW.

What about that was hard to understand?

I don't have a DAWG in this fight but doesn't Bennett lose in the first round every year irregardless of his mute point seed?

He's kind of the George Karl of college ball. A pile of shit may be better than Romar but as in football we(?) don't want some mediocre doog legend to replace Romar do we(?)

He's not Adolf Rupp, Bobby Knight, or K, but he's not mediocre either. Viriginia is a one seed. Washington is going to be a 3 in the NIT or something.

Well, at least in his defense he has a much better chance of playing past the sweet 16 when he actually makes the fucking tourney

    Sure.

But the point is he hasn't.

And if he fails at it again as a #1 seed that's pretty fucking pathetic.

Like Romar failed with NBA talent, against Louisville as a number 1 seed

You do realize Louisville was ranked higher than UW going into that game right?

Yes, UW had the higher seed, but Louisville had the higher pole rankings, kenpom ratings, etc. Nobody had Louisville lower than UW except RPI (which sucks) and by extension the committee (which sucks).

Losing to a legitimate Final 4 Louisville team doesn't rank among Romar's 10 biggest failures.

Just like in this case with michigan state.
Virginia has to make the elite 8 I agree. But if they lose to Michigan state who should be a 1 seed I wouldn't hold that too much against them. I actually think MSU should be favored in that one

Agreed, MSU is a better team, and should have been the 1 seed.

But despite the easier path, Bennett will under perform in the tourney like he always does.

Bennett's under performance has come solely against MSU, I think he gets to the elite 8. And it's possible, but not probable Brogdon carries them past MSU.

It's almost like you have to beat good teams in the Sweet 16...what a concept.

Michigan State is a very specific type of team. I bet you they fair better against someone who can't match them physically

With MSU upset there is no excuse for him not to get to the ff. I will change my tune if he doesn't.

Doesn't look like that team needs it, however look at all the upsets. I assume those coaches are shit as well because they can't get out of the first round?
