    1. Emtman
    2. Holmes
    3. Redman or Milloy

Among Peterman-era players, the only one I'd even give a moment's consideration is Shelton.

    Michael Jackson was a freak.

    Empertman clearly the best.

    Milloy.

    Mason Foster
    Donald Butker
    Cort Denison

I really appreciated Donald Butker's contributions to the team.
    Is it Butker or Butt-ker?
    Butt-Kerr
    Run these hyphenated pussies.

My first team all UW defense.

    DL

Cedric White - 10 votes in Best of the West!
Talia Crichton - Best skater I've ever seen on a football field.
Mike Lustyk - If we could only have one premier defensive lineman in the 1988 recruiting class, this was the guy everyone wanted.
Donny Mataeaki - This motherfucker could take the shit out of a recruiting photo.

    LB
John Timu - Got his hands on more balls than Chip Kelly.
George Wilson - Best back on the field, nuff said on that.
Lester Towns - Pickup basketball Weightroom legend.

    DB's
Jerramy Stevens - Quite possibly the biggest DB ever to play for UW
Chris Massey - Always around the football. Dude just had a knack.
Jack Lockner - DJ still has wet dreams about Lockner roaming the defensive backfield.
Tripper Johnson - Did you know he played beisbol, too? What an athlete!

Don't forget about his MVP performance in the 2001 Holiday Bowl against Major Applewhite.

He was before my time but Redman is definitely up there. He's probably the best LB.

That's basically what I was referring to. He was right there on every one of those passes, just couldn't get his head around. Perhaps he lacked superb hips? @IrishDawg22?

Jaime Fields would knock you the fuck out. Joe Kelly limped off the bench to lead a comeback against UCLA. Those are two great linebackers lost in the numbers.

to that we must add Dan Lloyd

That one Bama corner who transferred to UW with much fanfare, only to never play a down, deserves an honorable mention

Travell Dixon. He had a stop at a JC in there too.

    My nomination: Levi Madarieta

I actually put Martin ahead of Holmes, so for me it is

    Stan
    Martin
    Holmes
    Foster

I will tell anyone who will listen that Mason Foster is the single most underrated player in the history of UW football. If he was a white dude from Ferndale or Blanchet, he would have his own spot on Mt Rushmore with Stan, Wilson, McElhenny, and Joe Steele. A legend for persevering threw Owen 12. The dude started the first game of his rookie NFL year. In the trouncing vs Nebraska in 2010, he literally was the best player on the field. 'Nuff said on that.

I don't know who is #5. Joe Kelly, Reggie, Milloy, many to chose from.

Based on my experience I would say:

    1. Stan Emptermanan
    2. Ronnie Holmes
    3. Michael Jackson

Honorable Mention: Dave Hoffmann, Reggie Rogers and Doug Martin

I would like to hear @RaceBannon's take on Rick Redman since he saw him play.

Agree with #1/#2 (Ron Holmes was unblockable as was Emtman, and I'd still take Steve, but Holmes didn't have the overall level of talent around him like Steve did in on that 91 team)

Was to young to see Jackson play, so I would go with Lawyer Milloy. He would decapitate wr's if they came over the middle back in a era when it was still legal to hit them with the intent of knocking the ball (or them) out.

    Honestly, best 3:

    1. Emptermannz
    2. Ronnie H.
    3. Reggie R.

    So many good ones, though...

If I had to make an honest "All DDY's Life" Team:

DE: Reggie R. - fucking rapist.
    DT: STan - absolutely unstoppable.
    DT: Ronnie H. - dominant.
LB: Joe Kelly - tough and fucking gifted.
    LB: Azeem or Michael Jackson - Zeem will join next year, I think;
LB: Mason F. - massively reliable, made plays.
LB: Dave Hoooofffff - fucking insanely TUFF and intimidating.
CB: Marcus Peters - Dude was a fucking boss.
CB: Ray Horton - Holy fuck with quicks.
    S: Lawyer - Just a football genius.
S: Tommie Smith - Play. Maker.

    Great list.

Tough to leave Jaime Fields off the list, but I can't really fault you for your LB choices. Fields was just a menacing hitter. Pharms was also terrifying, and not just if he was robbing and pistol-whipping you.
