Haden Hires Helton

USC might be the easiest place to win in the country and their last three hires are Kiffin, Sark and Helton.
1. one of 5-10 best jobs in a recruiting hotbed
2. coach fired in midseason allowing 2 month search period, ahead of other programs
3. interim coach goes 5-2 and looks good but not great, but naturally has strong support from team
School hires interim coach, who has no other head coaching experience.
How would you feel if this had transpired at UW? Given stated desire here for major job coaching experience, I suspect this would not be well received.

Unbelievable

What I see under Helton is old-school line em up in the I and pound the football up your cunt. Just what SC needs. He ditched Sarks horizontal passing in favor of p l a y action to th e best WR's in the country, behind a mauling Oline and Ronald Jones. A good hire in my eyes.

Am I the only one who thinks Helton is a solid coach?

Puppy good at everything. -
Heldon will win the South. But you saw what his team did against Oregon.
They may even sneak out an emotional win against Stanford.
Haden did the safe thing.

Praise Allah to the Helton hire.

I'm sad we won't get to welcome Sark back to Seattle next fall as a coach.
He'll probably be out of rehab by then and working for ESPN so he might still return. -

For as much shit as we talk about Bevell (deservedly so), he at least consistently prioritizes the run. -

So would Sark under Carroll. He wouldn't have a choice. Kiffin does under Saban.dnc said:
