indiannative american.Fuck I hate all these people who can't tell the difference between someone who likes to have some cocktails at night but still gets their shit done(ie functional alky) vs someone with an all out 5 mai tai problem when you're showing up to recruiting events, practices, and meetings plowed.
And just for the novices out there living with the unicorns, rainbows and leprechauns....you DO NOT handle being that much of a drunk and pulling yourself together purely on booze. This guy was doing coke or any number of other things to pull himself back together. These so called "friends" had to know this and yet they are still defending him. I've known a few of the Patron type drunks and they never could hold a job without uppers and quick pick me ups. Otherwise they'd be a whino on the side of the road with a paper bag and an OE 40.
