Bring on the flags you butthurt basic ass bitches!

I haven't looked at time of possession, but how long did Stanford's O have the ball? Petersen's offense couldn't keep themselves on the field long enough to give the D a break.
-
I should have listened to those poasters at Stanford's scout site.PurpleBaze said:I haven't looked at time of possession, but how long did Stanford's O have the ball? Petersen's offense couldn't keep themselves on the field long enough to give the D a break.
Stanford OWNS T.O.P.

Other than the pick by Baker, the secondary made Hogan look like a potential NFL draft pick.

You like me, you really like me!!!!PurpleJ said:Pretty special to hold Stanford to a scant 478 yards and 31 points. Fucking idiot doogs. Hi @dnc @PostGameOrangeSlices @GreenRiverGatorz @CuntWaffle @Gladstone @Baseman @Tequilla @whatshouldicareabout @AtomicDawg @sarktastic @godawgst
Was disappointed in D tonight, but no help from offense either (which at this point they should be used to)
If we get down 10, with this offense it feels like 30.

no words no defense no heart

He is a future NFl draft pick. Let's not be dumb, he's a middle round pick. QB's that win with his size and arm strength get picked, even if they suck.greenblood said:Other than the pick by Baker, the secondary made Hogan look like a potential NFL draft pick.
UW are fucking losers. The defense isn't "bad", they are actually pretty good. It's going to shit the bed sometimes because they are coached by losers. These losers coaches are fucking retarded. The defense won't remind anyone of '91, but they are a good defense in today's college football. I still don't give a fuck though. -
so... does this mean we no longer have the Pac #1 D?... or... Never play a hyphen QB?
-
We held them to 17 below their average in league play, so there's that
-
Our D is fucking good. You stay on the field 70 percent of a game because your inept offense and stupid fucking coaches can't execute their way out of a fucking wet bag.
-
Exactly like the seahawks. When Beverly's offense is 3 and out every drive, the defense shits the bed.Swaye said:Our D is fucking good. You stay on the field 70 percent of a game because your inept offense and stupid fucking coaches can't execute their way out of a fucking wet bag.

You could also argue that they couldn't get off the field.Swaye said:Our D is fucking good. You stay on the field 70 percent of a game because your inept offense and stupid fucking coaches can't execute their way out of a fucking wet bag.
-
You could, but I'm not talking about just this game. If you look at the season, and there is enough there to judge, our D is solid. But, it isn't a top all time D that is going to bail you out every game, and if you fuck around with enough three and outs and pitiful O performance for long enough, it will catch up to you and the D will have a game here or there where they falter. These guys can't be on their A+ game every fucking minute every fucking week to bail out that shitastic abomination Peterfuck calls an offense.PurpleJ said:

Doesn't matter how good they are. That offense will drag them down no matter who we face.
FUCK CHRIS PETERSEN -
It's hard to call a defense good when they've only stopped one team in conference, drunk Sark's Trojans. RIP.
Cal - 30 points, 28 first downs, 481 yards, 10-20 on 3rd
USC - 12 points, 20 first downs, 346 yards, 1-13 on 3rd (crucial!)
Oregon - 26 points, 21 first downs, 442 yards, 9-18 on 3rd
Stanford - 30 points, 25 first downs, 478 yards, 6-14 on 3rd
So they usually give up 30 points, 450 yards and allow about 50% on 3rd down.
That isn't good. And people were actually calling them "great" after the Cal game. Boggles my mind. A good defense can win games in spite of an offense. An average defense will do enough to keep the scoreline respectable. This defense is average, with the potential to be good next year. They are not good yet.
You want to see a good defense, go watch my Crimson Tide. That is a good defense. -

Stanford game: After three qtr.'s we had 38 yards passing and 15 min t.o.p. How BAD must you be on offense in 2015 cfb to have only 38 yards passing?
Oregon: Got nothing except our overall offensive ineptitude.
A "good defense" can't win games despite this offense. Only a great one can. What is keeping us from being great is not creating turnovers and our inability to get off the field on 3rd down as the stat's show above.
PS: I think your Alabama defense is closer to great than good. -
But then you'd be a fucking moron. The D got itself off the field a lot last night. Then they'd have to go right back on.PurpleJ said:You could also argue that they couldn't get off the field.

If the offense ever gets fixed it will be just in time for the defense to start really sucking

Plus Stanford could have scored 70 if they needed to

The defense is good...BUT they've been strung out by the inept offense so may times it is obvious they have quit.
This defense with a slightly below average offense is a 1 loss team at worst this year. -
Before yesterday the defense was 12th in one of the metrics football outsiders uses and I think 14 or 16 in ESPN's FPI. That is now 22nd. Considering the weak offenses left on the schedule, the defense will finish in the top 15.PurpleJ said:It's hard to call a defense good when they've only stopped one team in conference, drunk Sark's Trojans. That's a good, borderline very good defense. If it had another good safety (instead of Clay, Turner, etc) it would be top 10 and a great defense. -
I know your post was meant to convey that we're a shit team that can't stop anyone because they average 30 points against us and are 50% on 3rd downs but...PurpleJ said:Cal - 30 points, 28 first downs, 481 yards, 10-20 on 3rd

Cal is averaging 31.4 points against Power 5 teams, we held them to 30
USC is averaging 31.6 points against Power 5 teams, we held them to 12
Oregon is averaging 29.4 points against Power 5 teams, we held them to 26
Stanford is averaging 38.5 points against Power 5 teams, we held them to 31
And all this with the worst offense at UW since 2008.
We aren't a Top 10 defense in the country, but we're currently holding all of our opponents to less than their average scoring offense against Power 5 schools. -
Yep. Sid Jones, Feeney, etc.ThomasFremont said:The defense is good...BUT they've been strung out by the inept offense so may times it is obvious they have quit.

Most ignorant post ever laid down in this shitpit. Take a bow Houston, then stay there while Freemont puts a thorough buttfuckin to you . This is typical dawgman post-loss panic language, with zero understanding of the big picture. Pete has a good football team a brewin. Wait it out cunt, I said 3-5 years.
-
They are a pretty good to very good Pac 12 defense. I remember hearing Utah's defense was pretty good and a slightly buzzed SC team skullfucked them all over the field.
Perspective. Any offensive help at all and they would be damn good -
How can you remotely believe that?ThomasFremont said:The defense is good...BUT they've been strung out by the inept offense so may times it is obvious they have quit.

Oregon and Stanford both would have scored more points if needed. The defense is only looking good to idiots like yourself because the offense is so horrid, opposing teams let up in the second half.
