I don't understand the obsession about Tui becoming an assistant here. He is without a doubt my favorite UW QB of all time but who the fuck cares what he did as a player? It means nothing when it comes to being a coach.

Tui is a low-level assistant at a major program. If he wants more, he should do it at a lower level program and actually learn how to coach and become a valuable coach.
I've never read or heard anything from any source to suggest that Tui is worth having around as a coach other than the fact that everyone around Montlake likes him, and that's not enough.
Next you'll be telling me Warshington should hire Steve Empterman. SHIT. DOES. NOT. WORK.
